Wristwatch Annual 2017: The Catalog of Producers, Prices, Models, and Specifications Paperback – November 8, 2016

This book was recommended to me by a watch fanatic. I opened the book and could not put it down. My only regret is that I cannot afford to buy most of these watches. But it is certainly fun reading about them and learning about various watch manufacturers. Great pictures and facts for those who love watches. A must have for your library.

Very Informative about Swiss Watches, Watch Companies History, and some Pictures about Swiss Watch movements. As Magazines and books disappear it’s nice to have a book to hold.

I buy this every year and get my money's worth reading about watches I might buy, and drooling over ones I can't afford. My only complaint is that they often don't change the write-ups from year-to-year. So, that means they aren't bothering to get fresh inputs from each watch company every year. You would only notice this if you buy it every year as I do and read almost every watch company bio. They DO list and show pictures of most new watches every year, and they have prices for most of them. There are mostly mechanical watches in here; very few quartz, and most of them are priced in the thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) rather than hundreds. I deducted one star for repeated company descriptions.

Excellent pictures, good information and the book covers many manufacturers.

I always enjoy looking and reading about watches, and this publication allows me to do so. Also, the wonderful photos can be easily enlarged to show detail easily missed in a printed magazine.

Basic information all in one place. Excellent quality photos.

Mr Braun has presenting the art & science of fine timepieces down to an art...and science. Solid, consistent, reliable...wish I could say the same about the rest of 2017

Got it for my boyfriend and he read it from cover to cover and loved it. Will definetly be pre-ordering 2018 edition.

Have collected these since 2000 and find them to be a great and easy reference guide on the obsession of watches that I have. Always a new manufacturer that you have never a heard of. Some great watches to aspire to, the usual suspects Rolex, Breitling Tag etc, and some clear definitions on watch terminology.
