Worst smoker I have ever owned.
I bought this grill 1/2018 and have had constant issues with it. My first issue was the auger went out which they replaced no problem. After replacing the auger the ignition rod went out which they replaced. The smoker worked pretty good for 5 months then the fire box fan went out which they replaced. I can count on this grill actually working 1 out of 3 times I use it, the auger constantly jams and has to be cleaned almost every use. I have talked to customer service over and over again and I have now waited almost a month to hear from a manager with no luck. I would really think twice about buying a smoker from this company.

Terribly Unreliable - Poor Quality
We bought the Green Mountain Grill (GMG), Jim Bowie edition, for $1100, in August 2017, from a local dealer. The best thing about the grill so far is that it has a three year warranty. When it arrived, the fan didn’t work. GMG happily sent us a new fan, but of course, we had to arrange to have the local dealer install it. The grill was gone for 2 months, as it was so badly stained, because of the non-functioning fan, that it looked like it had been used for ten years. The dealer cleaned it. By the time it came back, cool weather had arrived, so our grilling season was over. We’ve used it about 10 times this summer. Now the igniter doesn’t work. Once again, GNG is happy to send us a new part. Once again, we have to arrange to have it installed by the dealer. I asked the dealer to request a replacement grill, from GMG, since obviously, two failing parts in one year (one before it was used) is a good sign you’ve bought a lemon. He asked. No chance, they said. It’s his (my) lemon now.The dealer told me that his store has stopped carrying GMG grills because they are so unreliable. Wish I was told that a year ago. He said that he has replaced numerous igniters, and that GMG will not reimburse the dealers for the labor involved, in replacing these faulty parts, even though it is warranty work. Nice company.
