My boys did real archery on a summer trip & have been wanting to do it again. Unfortunately, where we live they don't have a archery set up in the hills etc. So we got this toy for them where they can safely play both outdoors/indoors. We were surprised at the good quality for the price. It's almost like a real bow & arrow the way its set up etc. The arrows light up after you hit your target which makes it fun to play in the dark. You connect the arrows pieces together and hilariously my kids made a super long arrow inwhich of course they couldn't shoot but boy that gave us a big laugh hahaha. Oh warning! Do not shoot anyone with the arrow nearby, it is not like a nerf gun.....it hurts!

I got this for my 8 year old daughter who wanted a bow and arrow for Christmas, I chose this toy for the sturdiness of the arrows and that they were not sharp or had those suction cups on the end that never really stick. The bow itself is fine, but the arrows are a bit of a let down. When assembling them a few of the tips where the light up portion was attached was broken, so they did not light up, that wasn't such a big deal, so we just kept going. We set up a target in our hallway ( a cardboard box with circles drawn on it) and the arrow bounced off it and hit the wall and broke into a few pieces, thought maybe she pulled too hard, or it hit at just the right angle for it to break, but then it happened a few more times. It came with quite a few arrows so she is still going strong, but we will need to surround the target with a soft landing ( pillows and blankets) if we want these arrows to last.

this thing shoots way farther and harder than i expected. got this for aparty game on my sons 13th b day and was vry suprised it is more realistic than i had thought shoots way harder and better than i expected pleasantly suprised.

Product was very nicely packaged. the directions made it easy to assemble. The construction feels solid and and I found the Bow was made of good strong quality plastic and is very durable I was easy able to put a great amount of tension on bow string, this allowed the arrows to fly at a good distance. The plastic arrow with foam tip make this a very safe product. Good number of arrows (8) provided. With some DIY targets my grandchildren and their cousins enjoyed playing with this set for hours.

Item looked good in the box and was easy to assemble. Initial negative was that only 1 of the 8 arrow heads lit up after removing the tabs. Oh well, let's have fun. Less than 5 minutes into playing, one of the arrows' plastic frame cracked, a second arrow had the end come off which attached to the bow and flew somewhere into the neighbor's yard, and two additional arrows' ends wedged inside of the arrow frame. In summary, my 7- and 9-year old girls made half of the arrows non-functioning within 5 minutes. Product looks good, but won't last longer than a few days in their full capacity. Look elsewhere.

Only two of the arrows actually lit up. After just one use, some of the pieces on the back of the arrows (that hold the arrow on the sting) broke too. Had high hopes, but was let down.

This bow and arrow set is perfect for Littles.You will need strong hands to put the bow together, but after it is together it's a load of fun. This is actually the second purchase of these that I had bought because my neighbor liked them so much that I had to get her a set as well for her birthday. Must have for fun. The lights in the arrows make it fun but they are very light so you can't really see them light up unless it is darker. But all in all. Very fun.
