8 months of use and still happy
I purchased these headphones for a couple of reasons. I am a sennheiser fan, and have found them to provide a quality product, and the other reason is that when I play my PS4, I am going to be using the headphones for a while, and wanted comfortable headphones. I have been pleased with these headphones. My previous pair of headphones that I used for gaming were an "on the ear" pair that I bought for around $20. While they worked fine, my ears hurt after about an hour, and it progressively got worse. These Sennheiser headphones are over the ear, and are extremely comfortable, especially the padding around the ear, which is made to appear leather, but i am almost certain is not. They also have excellent sound quality. I find that Sennheiser headphones allow the user to experience a multitude of sounds individually, instead of having a bunch of sounds blurred together. What I mean by that is that while there are many different sounds happening at or around the same time, you can differentiate between them, instead of certain other more powerful sounds blurring other smaller ones out of notice. In fact, I play my games using the headphones almost exclusively, as I find using the tv speakers doesn't give me the immersive feel, and when playing a game like DayZ, you want to be able to hear the direction the "threat" is coming from. With many different sounds around you, the Sennheiser deliver clear, crisp sound.I really like the the ability to simply flip the mic arm up to mute. The user can tell when the "Mute" is achieved as you will hear a very slight "click" that sounds as though a switch inside the arm has been moved. Sure enough, as soon as you hear the click moving the arm up, your party no longer hears you. Pull it back down and as soon as you hear the "click" your party hears you again. No inline switch to try and find, just the simplicity of moving an arm up. I like that feature a lot more than I thought I would. Also, the volume knob on the right side headphone is very easy to find, and use.Two more things that make me a fan of these headphones. After hours of playing, they are still comfortable on my head, and my ears don't feel uncomfortable at all. Pain free headphones. The padding on the top of the headphones has a split in the middle, which makes them feel steady and more comfortable on your head. No center pressure at the top, the weight is better distributed. The last thing I like most about these headphones, I don't think about wanting to buy a more expensive pair for more features or better sound. I am happy with the construction, as well as the quality of sound. I don't expect that I will need to purchase different headphones for many years to come.

Extreme Value for All Gamers, Wear and Tear Serviceable!
Peeps, look no further because, at the time of this review, these admirable headsets are going for $31.99!!!I remember paying around $40 when they were rightfully labeled SENHEISSER, and only because I had a gift card. If my memory serves me well, they were around $70 back in 2019.My own GSP 300s have held the test of time. Lived through the thicks and thins of Xbox and PC gaming, from heart-stopping racing in Forza 5, to defeating Crota for the first time in Destiny. And still continue to hold true, in their price point mind you. Because although they perform awesomely in the essentials, you may struggle to unlock extreme immersion from Dolby Atmos or Vision or 360 audio modes that newer headsets might offer.Keyword "extreme". Because positional audio is still very respectable, not to mention the fact they DON'T use battery-assisted power and still deliver impressive sound that one would not expect at this ludicrous price point (until maybe they go back to full MSRP hehe.)On the case of durability, even the most careful of individuals (such as myself, duh), have those "shoot dude" moments every now and then. Yet these charming blue-grey beauties still plug and-play effortlessly like they could day 1. Be prepared to service the earcups maybe before 2 years, because the material does degrade due to higher heat retention.Depending on your habits, they may last you way longer, but there are always respectable replacement options that will revive the headphones, good as new. However, now I'm tempted to just buy another pair!! Wow.As always, everyone's mileage may vary and indeed, there are a plethora of other options out there amongst the newer Logitech, hyper X, and Steelseries headsets, just to name a few.And although I cannot speak to any other brand of headset since I've only ever had these specifically for gaming, except maybe the absolute units that are the 1000XM3s when I go solo, I can say that the GSP 300s will take you for a reliable, no-nonsense ride, ready to take most everything you'll throw at it for only the cost of about a two-person meal at Panera Bread. ;-)

Great headset!
I use this headset for work, gaming, and video editing. When it comes to sound quality, I personally really like it. Now, i'm not an audio expert at all, so I can't really give an expert opinion. But as a consumer, who just wanted a good headset that worked well with my hobbies and my work, I like how the audio sounds. When it comes to the mic quality, I do think it's pretty great. I don't know if I would say it's perfect, i feel like there could be improvement where the audio could maybe sound slightly more crisp, but that's just my opinion. The boom arm is great - i like how it makes it super convenient to mute and unmute the headset's microphone. Especially when i'm gaming or watching movies or shows with friends while also snacking at the same time, I can just quickly move the boom upwards and be muted so I'm not having my mic pick up unnecessary noise. When it comes to comfort with this headset, it's really great. The memory film earpads provide great comfort to my ears by using the headset.Overall, I really like this headset and would definitely recommend it.

Great value for the price
Volume level and clarity is great. I like that i can adjust the sound on the headphones. Good quality and comfortable. Noise cancellation may be too good as when I have them on I can't hear nothing around me. Some people like that but I guess. Definitely would recommend. I use with my PS5
