NEIKO Safety Vest, High Visibility Vest with Reflective Strips

The vest it self does what it supposed to do. Helps you to be visible. It does have a zipper which makes it easy to fasten. I wear it mostly when I walk at night. I do currently live in Florida sometimes I wear flannel shirt with a zip up sweat shirt . I weighed about 140 or so and the vest still fits comfortably. If you’re needing to wear a heavier winter jacket like you need up north I definitely would recommend getting a larger sized vest. Overall I would recommend the vest. As other reviewer have said and I agree "the quality is reasonably good for the price".I bought this safety vest primarily for roadside emergencies. The area I live in does not have shoulders to pull over should I get a flat or other mechanical problem..a)Made of a lightweight synthetic mesh with decent quality nylon zipper. (Left hand zip takes some getting used to.)b)Highly reflective/visible day or night. Very bright yellow/green. Seems to glow in daylight.b)Size: I normally wear medium. Medium in this vest fits my SLIM frame well with a T-shirt on.d)get a larger size for winter, so it fits over your winter jacket.e)The medium is probably good for most ladies with or without a jacket. The medium I bought will be for my wife and the new large I have just ordered will be for me.Note sure how these would hold up with everyday use in a work environment. See other reviews.Happy with the purchase-I feel I paid a reasonably good price for the quality.

I typically wear a small-medium shirt. I got a medium vest and definitely wish I would have gone up a size. Haven't wore it much yet so I can't speak to the durability just yet.

Perfect fit

This vest appears to be well made. But its size is a bit small. I'm very thin and it just fits me but anyone larger will have a hard time getting it on.

I purchased this vest to wear on my daily walks in the evenings, especially at this time of year when it starts getting dark so early. I don’t make a habit of walking in the dark, but a different times of the year is either dark in the mornings or dark in the early evenings. One misconception that I always notice That is so frustrating is how I have learned there is a common misconception of commuters that oncoming cars can see them. I cannot count the numerous times I have been driving and saw someone all of a sudden disappear to the side of the road and I realize that they seem very content that you can see them. This realization made me buy this vest for myself , now when I wear it when cars are coming towards me, they turn on their high beams, and I realize that they saw me because of the vest and turned on their bright lights to investigate further. It’s lightweight. Very easy to put on top of whatever you’re wearing and it’s worth it. Safety first.

I bought this for walking the dog in the evenings and it does its job. The yellow is bright and noticeable and the reflective tape works great when car headlights hit it. I bought mine to fit over both my husband's and my jacket so we can rotate depending on who is walking the dog or if both of us go out together one of us has it on to protect all of us. We walk in the rain frequently as we live in Seattle and while it is not water resistant, it still dries quickly and reflects even when wet. I like the zipper on the vest and have had no problems with it. I think if I were to purchase again I would get one with pockets if that were an option. I can still easily access my coat pockets with the vest on so it is not a major deal, I just like extra pockets! Overall, I just feel safer walking at dusk and night with this on and I appreciate others who also wear reflective gear when they are the pedestrians and I am the driver.Update Feb 15, 2020: Almost 3 year update. This vest is going strong! The color is still bright despite having the neighbor's dog jump all over me with muddy paws. The reflective strips work fantastically and haven't faded or cracked at all. The zipper has worked 100% of the time with no hangups ever. I wear this vest twice a day in all weather. I have since changed my mind- it doesn't need pockets. The neighbors all recognize me from my vest and comment how much they love it. I think this is one of the best things I've purchased for our twice daily walks. The other is a glowing collar for the dog.
