This is another needed ingredient for Hot and Sour Soup.Flavor is not at all what I expected. Very difficult to describe. Very subtle and meaty?Anyway, a perfect ingredient in Hot and Sour Soup. I use it in my Asian type marinades and flavorings for soup, and meat and vegetable dishes.I think it's too expensive, but you don't need a lot of it.I also think you'll be pleasantly surprised with it's use in your Asian food.Do what I do and just experiment around with it. A very nice, subtle flavor.
