Boom for the buck in a 3.1 system
Selected these speakers to complete an upgraded 3.1 surround system. We have a slightly odd shaped room and wanted a very clean look with no wires. These fit perfectly in our cabinet. Together with my existing Sony receiver, 85” TV and 4K player and center speaker they are a perfect addition. Actually tried the Sony three-way speakers first, which are great speakers, but these are more appealing for what I needed. Excellent immersive sound in our 3.1 system and very nice when listening to music whether multichannel or two channel. Would recommend.

Excellent for the price
I'm NOT an audiophile so please take this all with a grain of salt. But to me these speakers sound fantastic for the price. I paid $129 for a pair of "like new" speakers that actually appeared to be brand new. So that was nice.I've had them playing for two hours now and I'm very impressed. Surprisingly robust bass. If you live in a small apartment, or you're just not a total basshead, you don't need a sub. These things have a real kick! The sound is crisp and clear, I'm hearing dialogue that I've never heard before. Finally, the power. I'm using a STR DH790 and these things will go as loud as I could ever want. They fill up the room with beautiful noise. In short, for the price I think these are excellent.

Polk Monitor XT15 Pair of Bookshelf or Surround Speaker
Item as is advertised. They are well built and stylish. I'm no audiophile, just a guy that likes watching movies on my 75" 4K TV and 5.1.2 surround sound system. To me, it was definitely an upgraded auditory experience compared to my old Monster Cable speakers running through a budget Denon AVR. I thought the Monster Cable speakers were pretty decent, but these Polk speakers are very impressive for the price point.

Smaller than they look, nice sound
Very nice set, smaller than thy look at the photo. I connected them to a logitech Z906 home theater and produced an increase in audio quuality.

Worked great in awkward small office listening room.
I'm using these as desktop speakers in a small office, they had to be positioned very close to the wall and yet they still sound great. I compared these against the MIcca RB42 and the NEUMI BS5 and these were superior, voices just sounded really natural and they are less sensitive to positioning (wider sweet spot) compared to the others.

Better than my older Polk S15s
I was never happy with the S15s and S30 center that I've had for awhile. Dialog never sounded right, kinda hollow and hard to understand. I have another setup with the Polk TSI line that are very clear. These are clear. A lot smaller than than S15s but have the same if not better bass.

Sent back my klipshe for these
So I’ve been slowly upgrading my stereo on a budget. I work part time at a coffee shop and saved my tips for over 2 months to buy a pair of klipshe R-51m speakers. I was so excited when i saved enough to order them. They arrived in a couple days and i eagerly hooked them up. Now, i listen to A LOT of metal. Death, black, thrash, heavy etc. and these speakers had such a high frequency. There were next to no lows. The sound was too snappy and high pitched. My ears rang and hurts every time i listened to them. Even at lower volumes. I know everyone’s ears are different and mine just can’t handle high end sounds. I do better with more bass. I had to turn the treble all the way down and the bass all the way up, still with no avail. So i sent them back and after reading some reviews on these polk bookshelf speakers (and $75 cheaper!) i thought why the hell not?I ordered, they arrived in 1 day and i quickly hooked them up. Wow! Much better on my ears. Not as loud as the klipshe but the bass is so much deeper. And i had money left over to put towards a cheap subwoofer. (Remember, I’m no audio expert and i don’t have much money). But i know what my ears like and these Polk speakers do the job!!! I definitely recommend if you want a good sound at a lower price.
