This is the first Dyson Ball Vacuum that I purchased. I used a Dyson vacuum cleaner in the past and it worked well for many years. This vacuum has plenty of suction for your floors and carpets. I found that when vacuuming the floor mats you do not need the beater bars running. It takes a bit of getting used to when cleaning at first. This unit swivels to get into the tight spaces. As for the extra features/options I have no opinion. I would recommend purchasing this or a similar Dyson vacuum in the future when the need arises.A good value for the money paid. Make sure to get extra filters that fit this unit at the time of purchase.

I was totally surprised by the power of this machine. To see how much was removed from my carpet & can feel the suction. I've owned a Dyson DC40 for over 10 years & it broke & the vacuum motor itself would no longer provide suction.So it was time to get a new one. There was no smell like U get from other machines. Easy to dump the bagless cup then off to do more cleaning.I would put this machine up agienst any other vacuum on the market even the Shark. I do wish it have a light on the front so I could chase the cats with it.I recommend this vacuum 1000%. Plus you get a 5 year warranty on it. This is what was in the bagless cup after 2X's going over the 10'X10' spot oh my.

I had one of the original Dyson vacuums. It lasted almost 20 years. When it stopped working (no parts to repair due to age), I didn't have the funds to get another. I bought the H brand in a "self-propelled" model and it only lasted 3 years.I've just received this Dyson Origin and let me tell you...I was amazed at the amount of dirt left in the carpet and on ceramic wood look tile. It's only been a few days since my old "H" machine quit, so there shouldn't be this much dirt. But there was.It was super easy to assemble. This vacuum was very easy to push through medium height carpet. It was a breeze on the tile.I highly recommend this machine if you have difficulty pushing and pulling a vacuum. It just seemed to glide along quite easily on the carpet. I also highly recommend this Dyson due to how well it picked up embedded dirt.

I have to say it’s been a while since I’ve had a Dyson product but I am so happy that I purchased this one. We had a hard time setting it up. Instructions weren’t that great but once we got it all figured out using this, Dyson is extremely easy the suction power is mind blowing the stuff that this Dyson pulled up out of our carpets after we had the carpet, stretched and clean is mind blowing. I would suggest that the cleaning company that cleaned our carpets invest in Dyson because this little powerful thing that we’ve got here. We love it, and it is truly worth every penny.

I cannot believe o have lived this long without a Dyson in my life. The aerodynamic alone are amazing. The ease of use and even the dumping of trash is built with user in mind. I’m telling you if you haven’t bought a Dyson yet you are missing out! My kids love it too as they are the ones that are going to use it the most. Set up in 5 clicks!!!! Long cord and thin to fit in closet! Just got it and used it so I can’t say much about durability but we will see! Now I’m off to clean!

This was my second Dyson, so knowing that this vacuum is heavier than it's competition is something I was already aware of. They have also done nothing to make the use of attachments easier; it's almost a two-person job to use attachments because the vacuum falls over as you try to extend the reach of the other tools.However, without question, my biggest gripe is the complete and total lack of customer service. The vacuum made it 13 months before the brush bar stopped working. I tried calling Dyson's customer service number but all you get is the option to choose various links about other common issues, but nothing about the brush bar breaking. If you choose to speak to a customer service agent, the call is dropped. So, I sent an email on 10/14/24 asking for help in replacing the brush bar. Today, 11/11/24 I received an email response that the brush bars are out of stock and they would send me an email when they're back in stock. (Are you F'ING kidding me?!!!!!!!!) Over a month to respond to essentially say we can provide no service?! (Is this because there are so many broken you can't keep up with demand? VERY LIKELY.)I purchased a brush bar on Amazon for about $115. It was either that or wait months to have my vacuum working again. Not the best choice with two dogs.I expected much more from the vacuum and much, much more from the company charging the most for their product. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I've had this for about a year. It's my second one but compared to my first one it definitely has too much suction. I struggled to push it on my rug and there is no way I would be able to vacuum an area rug! After calling the company with no help I had to do a lot of research to find a way to lessen the suction so I was able to push it. I found a video where they put an O ring on it to give a space so it would not create a suction seal with the floor. Now it works just fine

Works excellent,great suction power. Specially, on the edges against the wall,picks up everything. Totally awesome worth the money.
