Janome Magnolia 7325 Sewing Machine with Exclusive Bonus Bundle

I haven't sewn a thing in over 30 years and was looking for an economy model that wouldn't break the bank. I also didn't want to settle for junk. After researching many products and product reviews, I decided the Janome Magnolia 7325 represented the quality and options in a machine worth taking a chance on. Once unpacked, I had the bobbin filled, machine threaded and was sewing in less than 20 minutes by simply following the clearly written manual included with the order. This 7325 is smooth running, very quiet and sews beautifully, no matter the stitch chosen! There's a manual tension adjustment knob if needed but the thread tension worked perfectly right out of the box; no adjustment was necessary. You can alter how slow or fast the machine will sew by way of moving a simple switch mounted on the machine. The pedal depresses at a controllable rate of speed. You can select needle position to be up or down each time the needle action stops and you can set the needle to sew off center as well. The top loading or drop in bobbin is extremely easy to use and allows you to see how much thread is left. You can even change the length and width of the stitch. My order came with several different feet, a hard case/cover, needles, bobbins, and a few tools. I believe this machine to be an amazing value for the money. This is NOT a computerized version. I would have had to spend a lot more money to get the same level of quality and options as a computerized version of this brand. I am very pleased with this purchase! Will update this post should there be anything less than stellar performance or longevity.

This is the exact kind of machine I was looking for- strong, reliable, creating consistent quality stitches. The mid-range quality of Janome like this exceeds the upper end computerized of Singer. I was so sick of seeing error messages and dealing with thread jams. I have made 2 entire twin size quilts, 6 quilted shams, and 3 quilted pot holders and the thread has not jammed once. The needle pathway and threading is like every other machine I've had; I think that's pretty standard now. I LOVE the automatic thread tension adjustment. I have not moved it from that wonderful "A" position and weather I've just pieced together 2 pieces of cotton fabric or quilted through that much plus 2 layers of batting, the stitches are always perfect. Particularly in quilting, I often have 1 color thread on the top and another in the bottom underneath. I can never see the color of the opposite thread peeking through the opposite side. It is quieter than my last machine, but seems more powerful. There is an adjustable speed control plus a foot pedal, which I thought was kind of pointless- if you want it to go slower, just don't push it down as far. But it turns out I really like it when I have to sew a long distance- like the full length of a twin quilt- but I need to go slowly and carefully to stitch in the ditch. This way I can just leave my foot all the way down which is an easier position to maintain, but the machine will not go roaring off. If you truly have no idea how to use a sewing machine at all, I don't think this manual alone would be enough to teach you, but I'm not sure any manual would be. And if you are looking for a machine specifically for portability, this one is a little on the heavy side (because it's awesome!) It would be a good first machine in that you wouldn't have to deal with common frustrations like jams and tension issues.

This is a great entry level sewing machine. We bought each of our daughters this machine and the Magnolia has held up well for both of them. It works well with thick fabrics and pretty much everything else. It's not super fancy which is fine for a beginner. I only took off one star because one machine does not wind bobbins at all and we had to buy a separate bobbin winder. The auto tension is okay but does not always work perfectly so you may need to play with the tension when using different fabrics. Overall this is a good machine and they have given my girls many hours of happy sewing. This is a far nicer machine then any of the cheaper Brother machines we've tried.

I am a beginner sewist and did a ton of research before settling on my entry level machine to get me through the learning years. The machine came well packaged and arrived on my doorstep quickly. It was easy to unbox and set up, even for someone who had to read the manual at the same time.The machine is easy to use and fairly intuitive once you know the basics. I have finished two projects already, and I am really happy with how it sews. The needle threader was a key option for me due to eyesight problems. I would highly recommend to others.

The Janome Magnolia 7325 is great. Once I read the directions I felt comfortable using the machine. I have been an occasional sewer for 55 yrs so I am not a beginner. This is advertised that it is great for a beginner but it is great for anyone. I did not want a computerized machine so this is an excellent machine. The automatic needle threader is easy to use and is a great convenience since I don't see up close as well now. I have had this for five months and have only great things to say about it!

I highly recommend this sewing machine! It's great for beginners because it's so easy to use but I've been sewing for years and this sewing machine is the best one yet! It sews beautifully! You won't be disappointed!

Good quality and works well. Much better than most other higher priced brands.

So simple to use. It took a minute to figure out the bobbin but after that it's been smooth sailing. Very portable.
