Tagalog in a Flash Kit Volume 1 (Tuttle Flash Cards)

I like the portable flash card method of building vocabulary, but this material goes beyond typical flash cards: it not only gives the meaning in English on the back, but it gives four sentences using the word! That gives the learner many more words in context. What's more, they are practical sentences one is likely to need early in one's communications.

If you are looking to learn basic words, enough to possibly understand, this is great. If you are a person who learns with flash cards, this is great. I will give you the word in tagalog, and on the back, it's english translation but examples to include present tense of the word and possibly how to use it in a question. You can just study the flash cards to know the word and when you feel more comfortable, go back and read the examples.

I do know that flash cards, used properly can wuicken the pace of learning a language. The approach taken is a little different than just a word for word translation. Tagalog is a language that requires more than just learning all the words. These cards help you to learn the grammar as well. VERY EFFECTIVE. Outstanding learning tool for those who want to learn tagalog. The flash card format is a great way to learn a new language.

A great card set. Super helpful because each card includes four sentences where the word is used in context. Currently using it to supplement my Rosetta stone course and can feel the difference.

The flash cards are a good size for carrying around. The cards have the word, translation and a couple of examples of how to use the word.

Not to easy to understand

I wish these cards came with a little booklet of grammar or something. They do give sample sentences for each word, but that still leaves you with a lot of questions on sentence structure and when to use certain words (since some have the same translations).

I love the set of flashcards. It got useful words and great with examples.
