Does this mic require a lot of gain??

Since the sensitivity is -53dB, it will require more gain then a similarly priced condenser microphone, like the AT2020. However, because of the way this microphone is used (very close to the mouth), you should not have any issue with this, as long as you are using a reasonable quality microphone preamp/interface. How can i attach this to my macbook air? what additional accessories would i need?

I’d use it along with the scarlet solo as well as mic arm or stand and the cables as they are not provided
