Q: I want to pump from a 500 gallon pond to a starting point 25' uphill with a waterfall. Will this pump be able to adequately perform in this capacity?

how much higher is the hill from the pump. I do not think it will do as you expect. Maybe try a larger pump.

Q: What attachments do I need to use this pond with a waterfall and a fountain. Also, I don’t use the waterfall in the winter.

I use the waterfall all year, it helps keep the water from totally freezing. I just route tubing to the top of the waterfall. I do not use a fountain. During warm months i route the tubing to a filter which then passes the water up to the top of the falls.

Q: What size tubing does this pump require?

I used it with 1.25 inch diameter tubing. Worked great for three months then it died. I dont know if it died or the pond deicer i used was the problem because it too died. Pond was frozen as the temps were in the mid teens, so instead of bothering with replacing it thru Amazon i bought a replacement from lowes. Different brand, similar characteristics. No problem since then.

Q: Why does the box image show a 5 year warranty, but the pump I received box shows only a 2 year warranty?

The image Amazon is showing is an old one. We just changed the packaging this year as well as the warranty. The new warranty on all pond pumps is two years.
