Works much better than I expected! Honestly, if it only worked half as well, I would have been pleased with the purchase.

I have 2 chinchilla Persians n their hyper brother is always on them so they get matted all the time.I had to take the first boo boo in to be shaved with anesthesia: $300. Needless too say I’m stoked!

My beloved kitty was 19 and couldn't groom himself everywhere. He started getting clumps that I couldn't get out. This gently removed them. Do it over a few days. Don't try to do it all at once.

This may fool you, but this comb is so comfortable on our cat. She had some nasty knots and this comb gently removed every single one. A vet actually recommended this comb and I can say I would too. Your pet will thank you. We've bought several different brushes/combs thru the years, and found this one works the best.

Hearing that this is “easy“ to use I was hoping it would make a big difference on my cavapoo and Pomeranian. Neither of them like the tool and run away from me when I try to use it. I try to use it very carefully, but then it doesn’t really get deep enough to make a difference. Still trying.

The packaging was easy to open and the product itself feels worthy of its price tag. It feels great in the hand, it has a thumb support if needed, I don't use it myself, I'm a bit weird like that.This tool, shreds some serious hair. Now, in the beginning, I thought, maybe I went a bit overboard. But I was surprised, when my sister took over, she got another cat out of the hair she removed. My cat looked so elegant. Now I thought she was getting fat. But it was her hair. This is a remarkable tool for tackling matted hair/dreadlocks/sticky plants, balls, thorns etc. It's incredible.Now.... I've spent a lot of money on brushes and combs. This particular comb/tool is the bomb.If your apprehensive, don't be.Worried? Don't be....Fake review?? NOT THIS ONE.....This is explosive. My dog is doubled coated with short wire- hair. The product is great once you get the hang of it as going too fast means it pulls too much and hurts them. You have to do small bits a time. I didn't get mountains of hair off but you can hear and feel it dematting and I am hoping it will make it easier to wash her now her hair is separated properly. She fidgets a little but the expression on her face tells me she's enjoying it.

OMG this has changed my life “furever” it’s amazing! I have a Siberian who has 3 coats and you can’t get close to the skin. This you can and has saved me and him a lot of stress while tugging at matts.He insists on sitting in muddy damp grass and this instantly mats up...thank you so very much for inventing this magically all barbaric looking tool... (it isn’t tho)I can only say this is truly life changing for my Fitz!!

i have used furminators, slickers, cat combs etc, one of my cats still gets fur matted with garden greenery stuck in fur resulting more matting. Normally I have to get small shaver to try and shave the matted area out. I tried this dematting comb on a small area and this works. No distress to cat and no shaving required. Brilliant, only wish I had found this earlier. I'm now excited waiting for the next matted bit to pop up.

First looks this appears to be a very nasty sharp looking Tool that will inflict pain when being used, however it is quite gentle if you use it carefully and not press to hard, just gentle strokes, if tats are very firm just go very gently to remove them. I have found that this works very well on my working cocker spaniel especially on his ears.
