Totally glad I went with this for my 3D printer needs instead of regular silica. These small beads do a great job of drying my filament in my AMS and enclosed filament box. I use hygrometers to check if moisture is starting to accumulate and after 4+ months it still hasn’t. I never have print failures due to filament issues. I am still fairly new at 3D printing yet I am pretty convinced that using dry filaments is so helpful for good adhesion and quality prints. This is a large container too. I have filled up many intra-filament spool dry boxes and the container is still 1/2 full. I know it is harder to regenerate/dry molecular sieve but I will figure it out when I get to it. Right now it seems like it will be many, many months to years from now…

These are the same size desiccant beads that are in my moisture filter, which I use with my CS GX4 PCP compressor.

This product sucks up the humidity in my car aggressively and reduced the damp, musty smell to almost non-existent... I wish I had found them sooner but glad I did and it works. Probably good for gun safes in a basement too.

For first time users, it will be best if they had scales shown next to the item. Picture and unit described it's hard for new users to understand how big the unit is. If item has been poured out of the container and placed next to a ruler, it will help the buyer understand better the size of these pellets.

4a molecular sieves Two experiments: 30 GM to start Poured 5x the apparent volume in water, fizzed. Dried3x on paper towels. Probably lost ~ 30 beads. Weight:40.41gm. Aluminum lasagna pan, convection oven set to 500c start time: 9:45pm. End time 10:45pm . After 1hr in oven weighed 30.4 GM. Put Hygrometer that reads down to 10% into polyethylene bag filled with air. Hygrometer read 40%. Added above cooked beads to bag and checked in morning. Hygrometer read 10% (lowest it could read).
