Morphy Richards Evoke Special Edition Black Pyramid Kettle 100110

Our kettle suddenly stopped working and we needed a quick replacement. We had an older version of this kettle (6 years old) in cream, which was quite noisy but we had gotten used to it. This Evoke kettle looks slick, and is actually much quieter than our previous kettle of the same brand. Highly recommend.

Within days of getting it, this kettle was rusting and holding onto limescale around the lid. It looks disgusting! It actually makes the kettle look dirty!We boil the kettle quite a lot during the day, but there is no way that the kettle should look like this so soon. Our last kettle was of the same brand and we had it for years. It was easy to clean and looked basically immaculate until we had to chuck it (the filter in the spot wore out).ALSO, it’s really fiddly trying to get the kettle back ion it’s stand. More difficult than it should be, to be honest.

Lovely kettle but very noisy n hard to get bk on stand u hv to jiggle it round abit but other then that I lv it got the matching toaster to both easy to keep clean just wipe with a damp cloth

Seems excellent so far. Could have done with 1.7 ltrs but couldn't find one I liked. The only criticism is that it is rather awkward to locate on the electrical contact, otherwise very pleased.
