Awesome radio
Great little radio. Good sound and continuous weather updates. Great to have during a weather emergency. Small and portable. Great to throw in a travel bag or purse. Ready for any unpredictable weather.

Great NOAA handheld radio!
I’m very impressed with this little radio! Very clear signal across all three bands (AM, FM, and WX.) And the speaker is surprisingly good quality for being such a small unit. Battery life seems good. Haven’t had to replace the AAs yet after around 4 hours of use. Tuning the frequency dial can be tricky because it’s very sensitive. But once you have it tuned to whatever station you want, it’ll stay there, even if you slip the radio into your pocket and go about your day. I used this during the recent tornado outbreak in IL/IN in March 2025 and it worked exactly how I needed it to! Got the alerts right when I needed them. Great little radio!

Great radio!
This is a great little radio. Clear reception and easy to us. I need the NOAA service as I live in Florida and have to evacuate during hurricanes & when the power is out, this radio will be my only connection to what's happening weather wise. Worth the $19.99. I needed to contact customer service with a question & his response was timely & professional. Thank you Lois for the excellent customer service!!!

Don't pass this little gem up!
I would have bought this a year a go because I wanted a transistor radio like the ones years ago, so I could take it fishing, but I thought for that low price it wouldn't be very good. Fishing season coming around and still hadn't found anything, I decided to try it, what the heck, I could send it back. I turned it on and right a way I was getting loud and clear stations. I can even get my favorite station, that I usually have a hard time getting on my home radio. I haven't even tried the weather station. I'm not disappointed at all. I usually don't do reviews but wanted other people not to overlook this, small light weight gem. Haven't taken this fishing yet because of the weather, but I'll make a bet that it won't disappoint me!

An excellent choice for an emergency battery operated radio
I bought two of these for the hurricane emergency stash. One for my house and one for my mom's. Of course I checked them each before they were put in the plastic bins and I was amazingly surprised at how well they work. I had looked at another that was similar and it had complaints about the antenna pulling out. This does not have that problem. I did give it a little extra tug just to make sure I very quickly found our weather radio signal and it came in pretty clear. Then I turned it to FM and moved the dial just a tiny bit and the radio station came in clear. Definitely a good choice for an emergency stash. Normally I deal with digital only, but I read an article about the tuning dial was a better choice during an emergency. So I decided to go that way. I had no problems finding the right frequencies, these are so cheap that they should not have worked as good as they do, it looks just like it looks in the picture. Pretty simple very pragmatic. No bells and whistles which means far less to break.

Does the job.
Decent little radio. Will use in our basement in case of scary storms. Reminds me of the old school transistor that my dad used when he took me fishing.
