When seeking a solution for long video transmissions, I opted for the 50m variant of this HDMI Over Ethernet device. However, I quickly realised that a proper shielded Cat 6 cable is essential for reliable transmission.## A Cautionary Tale:Initially, I purchased a UTP cable, thinking it would suffice for a 20m setup. Unfortunately, it didn't work as expected. Luckily, I had a Belden shielded Cat 6 cable (1m) on hand, which confirmed that the issue lay with the cable, not the device.## The Turning Point:Upon testing the network performance on the UTP cable, I discovered that I was getting proper network connectivity, but the transmission strength was being lost over the 20m distance. This revelation prompted me to order a shielded Cat 6 cable, which resolved the issue.## Problem Solved:With the correct cable in place, I'm now successfully transmitting HDMI data over 20m. Device was powering on but not displaying.
The product received was defective. Also this module works with single LAN cable only. Does not work with lan protocol.

HDMI Extender performance
Yes it is working fine. But one problem i faced is while restarting after power failure display is not coming back. Then HDMI cable has to be removed and re inserted then only it will work. The reason is unknown.
