I love these lighters! Was using refillable Clipper lighters, but the igniters fail, last batch 6 out of 8 failed on arrival. So, Tried These long neck lighters, and have been using the first one for weeks. They remind me of Art Deco, and are easy to Click. I think you can use this lighter fine if you have some arthritis, you can light it with any digit, choice of positions. The cheerful colors mean you can drop one in the woods and find it winter or summer. The extendable neck is convenient, easy to see fuel level. It is NOT made of 'cheap plastic', I am SO Tired of that 1959 whine. The exterior is nice warm HDPE, unbreakable by dropping, and the moving parts are even tougher ABS. The metal end is so well designed it doesn't get hot, cool enough to put back in pocket at all times. The Piezo igniter hammer is a bit loud near your face. Sure, this one may fail eventually and I'll have to get out the next one, but they all worked on arrival and are the best deal and Design. Applause for the designers. They knew they could make something better and did.

I’m pretty excited to find a non-kid proof lighter for lighting candles in my home. The extension part is exactly what I needed for my votive tea lights. I like that I can refill them and purchased fuel for them the same time I ordered these lighters. There are enough lighters to put one in each room wherever I have decided to light my candles . Life is incredibly short so I try to enjoy the little things each and every day. For me, lighting candles year round my home makes me feel cozy. These lighters are not too big and definitely not too small. These would make an excellent gift to take for a bbq gift since the lighters would easily fit into a pocket for lighting a bbq or a gift to go along with a special candle as a hostess gift. When I give a gift, I like to include everything the receiver needs to just open up the gift and light the candle right then and there. It takes away from them having to search the house for a lighter or matches. Note!!! These lighters are not tricky at all and are not ‘child proof’ per say however…. I have never met a kid that couldn’t light a child proof lighter anyway but I do know that I find it very difficult to light a child proof lighter . I can never get a child proof lighter to work! They are only tricky for adults! Ha! These lighters are definitely a keeper and I will be ordering more to add to hostess gifts when I gift a scented candle.

Everything you're reading is true, at leasts so far, about these. They're a great value for the $. They are simple and easy to use; thus far, operate and function exactly as they should, knock on wood, & one have malfunctioned or broken yet, although admittedly I haven't owned them long. But if they stand the test of time, they will save me a mint in lighters. Bics, the most well-known, and historically reliable brand known to most Americans, usually work well for a few days or so before they produce their last flame. They're actually mediocre at best, but until I got these babies, were the best thing out there which isn't saying much. All that's changed now, I dare declare! In fact, the things have already saved me money and "paid for themselves". This pack of 5 cost about that a pack of 5 or 7 BIcs would cost. But they're gonna have longevity like no Bic can dream of. Like comparing a Door Dasher who brings you a pizza one time, to your family's lifelong chauffeur/driver, who drove your parents everywhere, and his dad drove their parents. Now I can only hope they're not too good to be true...Happy, hopeful camper

Looks cool...right?I bought these because I LOVE refillable lighters. HOWEVER, every single one of them stopped working after on refill. They don't spark.Don't waste your money.

Love the extension feature. Don't like that when you go to refill them they sometimes will lose their seals. One did not work when I received it however later decided to work. Can be difficult but all in all a great deal for what.you get.

These are great. The ignition is extremely reliable. The flame adjuster works excellently. Refilling it up was a piece of cake. It fills up fast without any major leakage or spitting from your butane can & the lighter. The neck adjuster doesn't tamper with the ignition reliability and it adjusts in many different heights. It's cheaply made, but I guess you could call it an AK-47 because those are cheaply made but extremely reliable.

I use these for candles, mostly, and it's so wonderful to be able to light a candle without burning myself. I like how they are extendable, so they take up less room in the drawer. I also love that they are refillable. I have not tried to refill them yet, but will see how that goes when it's time to do so. I love being able to refill them - it feels much more environmentally responsible.
