Great arch and ankle support. Could wear all day. Well made.
My first pair of Keens, and I'm so happy I bought them. Sandal and tennis show mixed. Who would have thought?! They are very comfortable. I can walk in them all day long. Use them on the beach, in the river where it's rocky (very nice to have these), and walking in the woods. Keep my ankles supported, nice arch support and feet stay cool on hotter days.

Good hiking sandals
These sandals are good for hiking especially if you are worried about accidentally kicking something. I would recommend against wearing them in the water and then hiking in them after, it caused my feet to be very sore and they take a bit to dry. They fit true to size and are high quality. There is a fair amount of arch support in the sole which is especially helpful for longer hikes.

Always wore KEEN Whisper - will this style hold up?
Having worn only KEEN sandals for years, Whispers the last two, I'm liking these as well, but hoping the soles stay attached! One of a pair of Whispers did come apart on me about two years ago because of the way I was removing by stepping on the heel edge, and I fixed that with strong glue that did the trick. The latest Whispers have stayed intact. Wow - so many critical reviews here are stating pairs of these soon fell apart after minimal wearing - usually I read the one-stars before buying - but uh oh - this buy I didn't, and now I must just wait and see, hoping for the best! Today, these sandals are very comfortably fitting me fine, appear to function as hoped, and I do like the colors and design a lot. As is, right out of the box, the fit on both feet has felt fine without any adjusting. If these last at least a year, I'll consider this purchase a great value, especially because there was a big discount the day I ordered.

If you need a soft step
I just got and put on my Astoria West closed toe sandal from Keen color desert sage/multi. They look great! Cute! Not clunky at all. What impressed me the most is the cushion these shoes provide. Take it from me, someone who has been living in only Oofos for the past 2 years because of needing the squishy cloud like feel to relieve foot pain. I can't believe how comfortable the souls of these shoes are. It's really hard to find a squishy soft soled shoe with significant thickness. The top and sides of this shoe are comfortable also. No toes are sticking out. Due to several reviews I decided to buy these in a size 8. I normally wear a 7 or 7 1/2 in shoes but, I do wear a size 8 in sneakers. This size 8 Astoria fits nicely so I recommend using your sneaker size. Because of their cloud like squishiness they conform to your feet and arch. I do feel that if you have a very high arch and/or a chunky foot these would probably be tight on you. My feet are thin and my arch is low. My review may be premature being that I haven't worn them outside yet but, what's making me feel so good about them is the cushion in the heel and the ball of my foot. I have so much foot pain that if I didn't feel this cushion I would actually be afraid to go outside in these because of knowing I'd end up in pain but, I'm not afraid at all to go outside in these and I'm looking forward to it!I have an old pair of keen closed toe sports sandal (size 7 1/2) that I've been really needing to replace but I haven't found any that were comfortable. I am so glad I went ahead and ordered these online! So far so wonderful!! I don't want to take them off.

Nonstop blisters
I’ve had these for three years and bought to replace a pair of keen whispers that I loved. I thought they would be great for my back with the extra cushioning on the bottom. The cushioning felt great but didn’t do much for my back and the sandals always felt a little unstable. My biggest issues were the stiffness of the upper straps resulting in nonstop blisters and the odd shape of the sandal. It tries to put your foot into an unnatural position and they never broke in. I tried to contact keen early on to get some resolution for this useless and expensive shoe but got no help.

Love Keen shoes, disappointed in these sandals.
I’ve been wearing Keen Voyageurs since 2013 and have LOVED them!! I am a short fluffy bunny and I needed a shoe to keep my feet stable and on the go for a week in Disney World. I read a review from a woman who hiked in them through like 37 miles in the Grand Canyon with no blisters! I bought my first pair of Keen Voyageurs in my normal size, 9.5. I hiked all over Disney World and true to the review, no blisters or broken ankle, they were magic! My husband didn’t listen to me. He bought Nike’s and used an entire box of band-aids on our first night. No fibbing, a whole box of band-aids!! And yes, neither of us had broken in our shoes beforehand. So, it’s 2022 and I am on my third pair of Keen Voyageurs and I had also gotten one pair of Keen water sandals for our summer trips to Lake MI and the rivers but this year I really needed a new pair. It’s been so long I could not remember which type I had ordered or apparently the size. After several tries I need a 10 to get the sandals on. My husband had issues with the fit of the Keen sandals too, something about the area on top of your foot and the back of the ankle is hard to get into the opening of the sandals. I believe my only pair of Keen sandals had been Newports and I loved them. This year I wanted to try the Keen Whisper because it’s a little cutier and dressier looking. Sadly for me, not comfortable at all. First, while the size 10 got my foot in the sandal it was a little too big for my toes. In a short while my piggies were trying to escape the the much larger openings on the sandal sides which along with the extra room made them very uncomfortable to wear. The rubber on the toes is much smaller too, which is cute, but if you plan to spend time in a river tubing you’ll want the Keen Newport. It’s not exactly cute or dressy but it’s a work horse of a water sandal. For some odd reason the size 10 in that style fits me perfectly. You won’t ever stub a toe, have run away piggies or too much excess room. They are super comfy! Expensive lesson learned.
