I selected this item because I wanted to reduce the acid in my system, it seemed about the right size, and it had good reviews. I didn't buy it because there's anything bad about my tap water. It's delicious, and some of the cleanest water in any city in the USA. (Thanks to Oregon's Environmental Laws) It didn't impact the taste, much, but it's other flaws were glaring.The design makes it difficult to place in the door holder of my fridge. It takes up a TON of space because it's oval. If it was square or rectangular it would be a better shape for fitting in with other items in the door holder.The requirement that you keep the filter submerged all the time means you have to put quite a bit of water in it which makes it heavy, and makes it leak all over the place when you try to pour out some filtered water. I question how much the filter actually does to the water because it zips right through the filter almost as fast as I could pour it. The lid will NOT stay on. And because of the very cheap plastic that the pitcher is made of I was almost certain the pitcher would break before the filter needed to be changed. The "timer" on mine was all over the place. At first I couldn't get it to work, and then it kept giving me a bunch of different day counts. I have no idea how I would ever figure out how many pitchers I had used (in order to know when to change the filter). At first I was going to use a pitcher a day, but when I had to keep topping it off to keep the filter covered I lost track.Ergonomic?????? What on EARTH could make an object like a plastic water pitcher "ergonomic"? And if it was "ergonomic" the question would be, for whom? I hate it when manufacturers claim something is "ergonomic". There simply isn't anything that fits every person, for every use. That is just a $5.00 word that they throw out there knowing that average consumers only know "Ergonomic Good". Then they ask for an ergonomic rating???? I'm a trained Ergonomist and I give it a ZERO. It is not balanced in weight when full, and the handle is slippery and rather large for my tiny hands.Spare yourself time and money and look for something else. I'm pretty sure this isn't the one you want.

This pitcher is sleek and slim and definitely gets the job done. My husband and I already owned the pH restore pitcher and had been using it for quite some time so we decided to get this little guy as a backup since we are constantly using the water to fill up our coffee pot and other containers throughout the day for quick and convenient access to amazing water. It performs wonderfully and keeps us from having to refill our pH restore as frequently but takes up less refrigerator space which is great! We love this little pitcher so much we bought 3 of them. Since mother's day just recently came and went we decided to get one for my mom, my grandmother, and my sister-in-law :)We are looking forward to seeing their reactions in the difference that their water will taste as well.

I filter every drop of water I use in my home and have many filter systems from different companies.Pros:- Well built, definitely not flimsy- If you have a small size refrigerator and can't fit it regular pitchers, this is made for you-the taste and quality of the filtered water is excellent (have used long enough to test the filter life)Cons- The design can use some help. It has a large reservoir on top that holds unfiltered water, and if you have not closed the lid properly, when pouring water out of it into a glass, the unfiltered and filtered water may get mixed

I’ve waited about three weeks before writing this so we had a chance to get some use out it. I’ve seen some negative reviews but honestly they just don’t make sense and we are so glad this was purchased. I bought it as a xmas gift for my husband.This pH Refresh pitcher/filter is totally amazing. I haven’t tested the water’s pH simply because we’ve had great results already. We have fantastic well water to begin with, but the filter on this product makes it better than we could have imagined! The water after being filtered is much more smooth and as my husband puts it, wetter. I actually enjoy drinking water again. We fill it several times a day as we use it for everything- drinking, ice cubes, coffee and tea, the dog and cat water dishes, cooking, etc. It is designed to pour from the only the filtered section of the pitcher, as long as you wait for the level in the top section to go down just a little. It filters very fast - we’ve NEVER had a problem with the filter clogging or needing to be adjusted. I will say it took a few tries to get the filter situated just so for it to seal properly, but that was it. It’s been smooth sailing ever since.The design is spot on and I’ve not had any problems refilling it. It’s sturdy (including the handle) and fits well in the door of our fridge, though you do not have to refrigerate it. Follow the directions and you’ll be all set. They seem complicated when you first read through them, but because it filters so quickly it’s really easy and doesn’t take much time. It came with two filter cartridges also so we are set for a while. I’d like to get the larger, fridge shelf style later on as well.Buy this product, you won’t be disappointed!
