I purchased this to use with plastic signs I wanted to adhere to cinder block walls. Works great to adhere, except that the paper is hard to remove. Also, is not easy to remove from wall, if you want to take it off.

I used this tape to install a rain guard for one of my vehicle windows - this after the foam tape that came with the rain cover failed. Luckily I didn't lose the rain cover. I'm not sure why the original tape failed. All of the others are doing just fine. But the seller did not offer replacement tape, so I bought this one. It has held at high speeds, jarring road conditions and scorching heat. It was super-easy to install although I wasn't familiar with the product so I made a mistake on my first attempt. It's difficult to remove once it's applied. Thank goodness I realized right away that I was making a mistake. So I got all of the tape off and left only a bit of sticky behind. The tape stretches easily but loses it's shape in the process. I attempted to stretch it across the surface of the window guard, applying it directly from the roll. When I saw that the tape was losing its shape, becoming thinner, I knew that I didn't want that because I wanted the thickness of the foam to prevent water from seeping between the tape and the vehicle and the tape and the window guard. So I discarded that first bit of tape. The next length of tape I unrolled I precut equal to the size of my window guard without stretching it. That did the trick. Interesting to note that I accidentally left that window open on the day I reinstalled the rain guard. It rained of course. Nevertheless, the next day the interior of my vehicle was dry. Luck was with me as apparently there was no wind.

I used this for desk name tags. After a student moved, I found out that this is not removable as advertised. Even after scraping, I was unable to get it all off. The custodians are not going to be happy with me at the end of the year. If you’re looking for something permanent, this would work well.

SEE EDIT OF REVIEW!!!! Great Product! I am using it to hang soundproofing panels, and a little bit goes a long way. There is 9 YARDS on this roll - so in terms of pricing, this stuff is cost effective, especially for the project I am doing. You can spend 2-3 x's more on Scotch or other name brands. I am very happy with this purchase. In addition, the company contacted me via email to provide tips and ensure the transaction went smoothly. That's going the extra mile, and we're not talking about a ton of money here.EDIT - it seemed like this product was great when I was using it to hang soundproofing tiles for my studio. However, as it has gotten warmer, the tiles have fallen. What's worse, the stuff is gooey, and is so hard to get off of the surface you have applied it to. They do have a notice saying it is "powerful and you should test the surface". I didn't realize this stuff would gunk up and be extremely difficult to get off of the surface. I also didn't expect it to fail. Spend the extra money and get a name brand like Scotch 3M double sided "foam" tape.

I don't write many reviews as few things are exeptionally good or bad. This product is exceptionally good. When it first arrived, I was doubtful because of the extreme light weight. However, when I used it the first time, it was obvious that this was great stuff. The only caution is make sure that you know where you are going to attach this tape. It has a very strong adhesive that is a bit of a pain to scrape off. I used this to attach alarm system detectors after replacing windows. After 3 weeks in place, I tested the tape. These detectors are there to stay. Good stuff.

This tape is strong. Used it to hang a LED light stick on the ceiling of my room and taped the ON/OFF switch on the wall next to my burned out lightswitch which kept burning out. Also great for sticking power strips on walls or on my aquarium rack. I would buy this tape again when I run out.
