Not flush w/added seal
I didn't use the seal that came with the housing after reading some reviews here about leaks using it. The seal I got though isn't letting this housing sit flush with the body like the OEM light. I cut the longer bottom section of the second one (2 to a box) and stuck it around the top of the housing. I'll update after a rain or I go through a carwash. I guess I could've got some silicone or butyl tape but will leave that to another day.I like the light it looks sharp. This is not the smoked housing but there's very little red until it's lit. The cargo light looks very bright in the sunshine so I imagine it'll do fine at night. All together it took me about a half-hour to change out.Update 7/11/22: it leaked. I forgot to write this ight doesn't have the 2 clips in the top center of the housing like the OEM does. I got a thinner seal that expands and replaced the one I got. Went through a carwash yesterday and no leaks!

Almost great design, executed poorly.
I attempted to install this light on my 2017 GMC Sierra. It looks great in the hand, though the seal isn't the best quality. I plugged it in to test it and the light was bright and worked great.The problems:- The foam backing is cheap and won't seal correctly.- The screw holes are too wide and don't line up with the cab.- The white light aims upward into the air so much that it didn't cast ANY light into the bed of the truck.I immediately removed it from the truck and repackaged it for return. I'll give another brand a last chance, then I'm throwing LED bulbs in the stock housing.Don't waste your time with this one. That negative reviews are all accurate.

Looks great, cargo light sucks!!!
Does not light bed of the truck, it shines up on the roof ... not help full, seems like the white light portion was put in upside-down

Leaked!!!
Had to give it 1 star to give review. This thang leaked and stained my head liner. Screw/Bolts were tight, not impressed by the foam type cheap seal. First hard rain notice head liner had a wet spot, s👎👎t!!! I thought about changing the seal at first but noooo!!! Had to learn the hard way. So keep this in mind before installing and switch to original GM seal. I've installed other custom after market fixtures (Recon,Putco,Retro)with good seals and 0 issues.Be smart, inspect the part!

Good idea, bad design.
Looks good, like the idea. Would work awesome if the light was aimed down or at the very least out. I purchased this one to help with backing up at night. The only thing it will light up is the ceiling in the garage... also the holes don't line up great to install. Also not not sure it will seal up to the cab very well.. waste of money. Will be putting the stock one back on.

Subpar build quality
The concept of this light is great, the build quality sucks, screw holes do not line up with factory holes, further more, lights face upward instead of out or downward like factory

Perfect fit and seal, LEDs are bright and the flashing is pretty slick -
White LEDs are angled straight out from the cab, but this isn't a big deal to me. I have bed lighting already and a cover with lights under the cover also.The brake light flashing is really neat looking, makes the truck look very classy. Hopefully it's long lasting, I will update my review after a few months.
