I have a 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd. She has been on Pro Plan since she was a puppy. I have been feeding her the Salmon for Sensitive Skin and Sensitive Stomach for Large Breeds for nearly 2 years now and it is an excellent product. Lately she seemed to get bored with her regular food so I thought I would try her out on a small 4 lb bag of the Lamb and Oatmeal to see if she liked it. She loves it! I only wish it would come in the bigger pellets for large breed dogs because she can eat this one without chewing. The Lamb kibble consists of smaller triangles instead of the large round pellets in Salmon for large breeds. I fixed the problem by feeding her a scoop of the larger Salmon kibble with a scoop of the smaller Lamb on top. That is working very well. She eats everything with enthusiasm and since the larger kibble is mixed in with the smaller stuff she still has to take her time and chew her food. Both types are great for her skin and coat and are easily digested. I just ordered the larger 24 lb bag of Lamb and will continue to give her a scoop of each as that is working so well. I hope Purina will make the Lamb for large breeds available as an option in the near future.

I recently switched my dog to Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Sensitive Stomach Dog Food with Probiotics, and I couldn't be happier with the results! My dog, who used to be a very picky eater, has started eating with enthusiasm again. The formula is effective and works quickly to soothe his stomach while also improving his skin condition. While it doesn't completely remove all his wrinkles, it significantly reduces them, making him feel more comfortable. I appreciate that I no longer need to rely on an iron for special occasions, as this food has made a noticeable difference in his overall well-being. This product truly deserves a five-star rating for its effectiveness and quality!

I wish this wasn’t just tossed in a big box and shipped without any packing. This one and last one (my first large size order) get too many pieces broken. Shipper doesn’t realize boxes are thrown in processing and need to be packed. End up with a lot of powder especially when you’re down to the last half or 3/4 of the bag. Too much free space in box. When you pay this much for dog food, you want to be able to use it all/ or most of it anyhow. Very irritating. May have to go back to smaller sizes.He doesn't itch or have as much indigestion with this food like all the others. I rated 4 for flavor & thickness because he doesn't gobble it up, but he will eat it all when hungry enough, and the pieces could be bigger, but they are fine. Rated 3 for value for money because it's expensive. Delivery came faster than predicted, 1 day early which was great. I changed my rating from 5 to 3 stars. 1 star for packaging of the product. Also the bag is thinner now and harder to open.

When wr adopted Shia at 8 weeks old, her breeder had her on the puppy version of this kibble. She is a thriving 3 yr-old Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier. I can't forsee switching away from this Purina ProPlan product.I rely on The Dog Advisor for their unbiased reviews of dog food brands and formulas. This dog food rates highly by The Dog Advisor, which gives me some reassurance when feeding this to our beloved four-legged family member.
