Just make sure you save that little rubber piece from your original analog stick as this does not come with it as others have mentioned. It just peels off the original and sticks onto the connectors of this one. Easy installation with the right tools. And, it works great, just like the original. I even replaced the stock black joystick nub that this one comes with with the original nub that came with my PSP.Great that this is available at an affordable price. Five stars!

Works nice, supports 2004 model as well.
Everything works just fine, playtested 2 days of GTA VCS and no issues. Just make sure keep the silicon conductive rubber from original analog as this doesn’t come with the rubber. Had to re-open my PSP as I didn’t put it with the new analog and didn’t even know about it.

It fixed the problem
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is that I couldn't find the clear rubber connector and ended up having to use the old one. That said the piece in question is so small and clear that I may have accidentally tossed it with the packaging....
