Great idea and nice talking point. Good taste but surely these could be cheaper? Don’t these normally get thrown away?

I've tried may different varieities of teas, most i really love, i especially love lose leaf teas, this however did not hit the spot for me!the tea flowers bloomed lovely in the mug when used as directed but i did not enjoy the taste at all.I tried different varieties which are included (10 blooming flower teas included total) but i couldn't get to grips with any of them.They tasted bland but bitter and artificial in the same sip which was very odd, personally, i wouldn't recommend.

These Flowering Tea Bulbs are odd and actually look quite nice, they'd certainly make a talking point if you served them up to friends in a clear teapot or glass when they came over!They are individual 'bulbs' of tea and mixed flowers that expand with the hot water and create a really nice design inside the tea pot or cup while also making the tea a nice flavour.In a cup these are a little strong but still nice, I preferred it when we used this in a good tea pot and made about 3 cups of decent strength tea from it. The flavour is good, not the best green tea we've tasted but still nice and you do taste a little of the flower in it, lightening the usual earthy taste of the tea.

These are really nicely presented in a metal tin, with the ‘Blooming Tea’ logo on the front. There are ten servings in the tin and each serving is individually wrapped in foil wrapping. They work out at around £1.30 each, which I think is very reasonable for something a bit different and special. So far, so good. There are two of each tea flower in the tin, giving you a total of five different flavours. Each flavour is colour coded. Open your tea flower, pop it into a glass cup for maximum effect and heat your water up. Pour the water onto the dried flower and wait. It will take several minutes for the flower to open up. When it did, it reminded me somewhat of a sea creature that you might find in a rock pool on holiday - A sea anenome or a strange seaweed. The taste was lovely. Just the right amount of green tea for it not to be too strong. I actually managed to get about four cups of tea out of it as well by topping the cup up every time i had finished. I’ve never come across these before and I was very impressed. They looked unique and were very tasty. This would make a great stocking filler present for someone who appreciates their tea.
