Q: Am i correct that pike place roast doesn't have the burnt/over-roasted taste that is characteristic of starbucks? thank you.

I agree with your question as I find most Starbucks coffees bitter, unpleasant and undrinkable, i will never buy another cup or bag. After learning to roast my own i found the real flavor of coffee i was yearning for. I had so many pike place over the years and didn't understand why it was the default brew of such a famous name as Starbucks.

Q: Why is it going to take over a month to get two bag of Starbucks espresso beans delivered?

I would suspect that it's an availability issue.
