Cricket vetoed the Blu phones i had with the system upgrade they did and had to replace mine and my better half's phone. talk about angry was out on this one and mine both under a year old plus another 300 buying 2 phones to replace them. Almost caused me to leave cricket after 13+ years. They did give us a 10 dollar cut on our bill each for buying new phones through them and we ended up with the Samsung A32 5G for a name brand phone the price was comparable to the Blu phone and specs actually a little better but not by much

This phone was listed as brand new. When we got it it already had a screen cover put on it that had someone's hair trapped under it! This was definitely a returned item! The back casing would pop off every time it was taking in and out of the phone case. It completely died within 30 days, we couldn't even get it turned on long enough to wipe the phone before sending it back. Absolutely terrible! We've had many Blu phones and have loved them, unfortunately this one fell short.

Having had nothing but good results with my first two phones from this company I didn't hesitate to order a new one. Setup was easy, just take the sim card out of the old phone, put it in the new one and talk. I was a little surprised that the charging port was not USB C but I have plenty of the older cables and it charged quickly. Was also surprised that I had to take off the back cover to insert the sim card instead of it using the slide out trays. But - first it stopped liking the sd card (a Samsung), then it wouldn't send text messages and finally it refused to recognize the sim card. Did the online chat with Amazon (Maria the rep is super) and she connected me with an agent from BLU. Tried everything suggested including a "factory reset" and still nothing. So I'm sending it back. Very sad as it's a beautiful phone.

I bought this as a backup phone. It's a tremendous value considering what you get, with an important caveat.It's not a powerhouse, but its octa-core ARM CPU provides adequate speed. It comes with 3 GB of internal memory and 64 GB of storage, which is much better than most phones in this price class. It ships with a plain-vanilla version of Android 11. The plastic back is removable so you can access the SIM slots; overall the phone is not what I'd call rugged, which is probably why BLU includes a heavy-duty case and a screen protector in the package. It also comes with a charger and USB cable (unfortunately, micro USB and not USB-C).The screen sometimes flickers when playing games, but in general it's bright and crisp. It has an actual 3.5mm audio jack, if you're still kicking it old-school with wired earphones. It also has Bluetooth, but I haven't tested it. Wi-Fi performance has been solid at home. It is dual-SIM which is a big convenience if you travel abroad. The fingerprint sensor has worked flawlessly.My only real complaint is the camera. To put it plainly, it sucks. Hard. Images are grainy even with the default 13 MP camera. They look like mobile phone pictures from 10 years ago. If picture quality on your phone is important, this could be a dealbreaker.If BLU added a decent camera and had to charge an extra $20-30 for this phone, it would be a world-beater and an easy 5-star product. I haven't seen a phone in this price class that performs this decently and has all of the features most people want.

The Blu G51 plus has a finger unlock sensor in the back. It opens quick. The camera is great. The battery life is good. YouTube videos are crisp. I like it.
