Did not work reliably from the first time it was opened. Connection was impossible to maintain with headphones (as if a loose or poorly soldered wire).

The cable has slightly better volume. Thats the only good thing about this product. It promises a mic and a way to adjust volume and pause videos. It grants none of those. When i first opened the product, it felt its price. When i connected it i couldnt hear a thing, i had to figure out that the cable only works in a certain angle. That is an inconvenience for cables that are old, so why am i having that problem with a brand new cable. The mic didnt work but you know when i does work, when the high volume of your headphones echoes from it (but not your loud voice). I bought this cable to game and i can only have the cable at a certain angle and at a certain volume... Also, why have a volume adjuster if its not going to work, the mic doesnt work might as well not have them both.

Bought it in 2022 and it had connection issues after 2 years. Wire looks sturdy but the connectors can get damaged over time. Might be best to buy OEM.

I bought this to use with Bose headphones and my Nintendo switch. Works super well for in-game chat. Nintendo doesn’t have a built in mic and doesn’t allow Bluetooth mics for audio input so this is a great workaround

Strange to see comments in some review that this cable did not work for their Bose QuietComfort 25 Headphones. My stock cable - the inline controller, specifically - broke and was actively interfering with audio. This replacement works great - plug and play: no problems. Happy to have a replacement! Happy to extend the life of the headphones, rather than throw more electronic trash on the collective waste-heap. 👍🏼 PS: I also ordered the slightly longer version of this cable, with no inline controls, with the braided nylon coating. Can also confirm that works on same headphones - and do not have the noise problems (nylon coating rubbing on clothing is heard in headset).

The cord was longer than expected, which made it even better. The audio quality isn't affected and all works well.

I'm so impressed with this product. I got it as a spare cable for my new Bose and I find it even better than the original cable that came in the box. It has the exactly same functionalities, but longer and of good quality material, manufacture and design. I now use it more regularly and quite happy with its output. Well done Mr Rex.

Works perfectly with Bose QC35, so my son can use it to plug into PS4 controller for mic capabilities.

Supplied cable was to short for my setup so purchased this one it is perfect length for my needs. Originally worried that may not match system pleasantly surprised it was spot on what was needed. Able to lock out the world without loss of any sound quality only complaint is interruptions from others.
