Loving LIDO for this "no screws" mount option. It sticks in place and provides a great way to attach in the rather tiny coin tray.

Item arrived quickly without delay, works perfectly as described, not issues.

Fits just where they picture it. Secure head for FTN 400, and out of sun.

The base is built well. How this connects to the FTM-400 (or 500) detachable head is poorly engineered! Won’t hold the unit solidly in place. Always loose and needs tightened. Thinking of adding a rubber washer for better grip. Had I installed it shortly after it was delivered, would have requested a refund. Outside that window now.

I was wrong! The mount includes a small rubber washer the holds the FT-891 head just fine.I put it under the screw head thinking it was plastic. Totally embarrassed and my apologies to Lido Radio Products. Thanks for responding to my email so quickly.There is no part that engages the ridges on the back of the radio control head. It will not tighten enough to keep the head from moving. This will be going back and I should be rewarded for taking the time to put up with such deception. Shame on the seller.

The point where the mount connects to the radio is not a very big in size. Heavy heads like the ftm500its puting a lot of stress on the mounting point. Use with caution, been hearing guys talking about radio mounts breaking.

This keeps shifting in my car. It will be in the correct position when I get out , then when I get back in my car it will be leaning. I do have it as tight as I can.
