Not Impressed
This charcoal does not cover well, and breaks easily. I am not impressed, overall. I won't be ordering again.

These pencils are trash
They leads inside are shattered pieces the first one I used itthe lead broke out of the pencil everytime it was sharpened so I had to throw it away.

Brittle and flaky
We were unable to use these we couldn't sharpen them without them flaking off into tiny shreds. They were so hard the pencil didn't come off on the paper. Terrible

The lead breaks so easily. I sharpened with a special colored pencil sharpener and they still broke. I’m not pleased with this quality.

Almost impossible to sharpen
Bought these for my 9th grade art classes, they were impossible to sharpen. my students and I became very frustrated. I will not buy this brand again it was a waste of my limited art funds.

There's Absolutely no Way To Use them. Impossible to Sharpen As Lead Just Crumbles Through Out the Whole Pencil.

Shared these with my watercolor artist friends and they love them. Great for a little white touch-up. Also had fun trying them out on black paper.

Not really white
If you aren't picky about what "WHITE" is (they were more grey than white) than these are decent pencils. as for smooth medium-hard, i think not, soft medium at best and the aren't smooth the charcoal is so soft that sharpening them becomes a chore, better to use a knife or scalpel to sharpen them.Arteza's customer service is top notch, even if their products aren't as described,The charcoal is nice and blends well but, as for the description given to what I received, worlds apart

Outrageous price.
It's a waste of money. Does not need to cost so much for this cheap quality of pencils. I gave it a shot and spent too much fir what I got. Sorry.
