Saved my child's skull
This helmet is softer than it appears in the pictures. I got it when my son first started crawling. It saved his head at least a dozen times from injury. I was sitting on a concrete patio with friends who were commenting on how "unnecessary" it seemed. Not 10 seconds later (despite my being right there) my son fell backwards and hit the back of his head. He still back up like nothing happened. They changed their tunes pretty quickly. This would make a great gift for any parent. The peace of mind alone was worth it.

Will not stay on baby's head
The quality was not that great. I would have rated it higher if it actually stayed on. Even when I tightened it and adjusted it, it would fall off or pop up. The helmet would not stay in place and the velcro on the back to adjust the helmet was not helpful. If the helmet would not have arrived flat it might of had a better fit. I was not pleased with this. I guess you get what you pay for. I would spend a little more money and buy a helmet that will stay on the baby's head.

great idea
This is a great asset for a child learning to stand or walk. My granddaughter did not use it much because she sat up,crawled , and pulled to stand with no problems , all within a few days. She hardly got the chance to get use to it before she no longer needed it. I would recommend it for any child learning to sit up or stand.It fits nicely and does a great job protecting the whole head and face

I used this because it's better than nothing
These are not biking helmets, but since there are no bike helmets for very small babies, I used this because it's better than nothing. Fits well and seems comfortable.

Perfect for my nephew
