Divine Medical Disposable Ampule Breakers - 100 Per Pack

about 2 years ago I was rushing giving meds, not really thinking, and cut my finger badly opening an ampoule. Since then, whenever I have to give meds that come in an ampoule I kind of freak out and almost always can't do it. Nothing like being an experienced nurse asking coworkers to open an ampoule for me because I'm afraid! These little guys were available at one of the hospitals I used to work at and they were honestly a lifesaver. When I changed jobs and didn't have access to these anymore, I realized I had to get my hands on them, and luckily they were available on amazon. You get a hundred of them in a bag which is nice, so I know I won't be running out anytime soon. The price was a little more expensive than I was expecting, but at the same time you get a 100 and I don't actually know how much these usually go for- to me (and my fear) they are worth it. Not only do they look the same as the ones I had available at my other job, but they work the same as well. They fit well over the ampoule and break the ampoule easily. I like that the bit of the ampoule that breaks off stays in the nose of this device, so you never have to worry about sharp glass accidentally coming out and hurting you. If you have a fear of ampoules like I do, or are just looking for a safer way to open ampoules at your work I would definitely recommend these!
