Great idea but I wish the design made it more functional. The clip doesn’t hold down well when you pull up on the bracelet to secure your knot. Had to come up with a different way to hold it steady. Additionally the different string slots are nice but I wish they had some tension between them to actually hold the strings right. The strings will stay in position if you don’t move anything but they will not hold the strings down while working on a bracelet or while moving it around/traveling with it. Was hoping this would be much better.

I got this for my nieces who are 9 and 11 years old so they could get creative and make some bracelets. They were very excited to do this together, and it was a great gift.

While a nice idea for making friendship bracelets, the instructions were hard to follow. As an adult who had made friendship bracelets as a child (the old fashioned way with a safety pin attached to my pants) I thought this would be an easier option for my 10 year old. After several attempts, with laughable results, we both decided the old-fashioned way was easier.Using the board was confusing and the threads kept getting twisted and tangled.

It’s a slight improvement to having a safety pin, it also does help with the organization of the strings. My 8 year old really enjoys it!
