Not Like the Ginger at the Japanese Sushi Restaurant
The ginger was not as crispy as that at the sushi restaurant and in addition to sugar was also artificially sweetened with sucralose.

DIfferent taste and jar might not have been properly sealed
When I went to open the jar, the lid came off with zero resistance and no "pop" of a seal being broken. Makes me think that it either got opened or that their production process did not properly vacuum seal it. Taste is a little off as well from the ginger that I'm used to from the restaurants. Not bad, just different. Might be just a brand thing.

Great flavor!
I love sushi but the convenience Stu I buy it from contains only 1 really tiny packet of ginger. Would have to drive over 30 minutes to a store that carries pickled ginger. I ordered 2 bottles of sliced pickled ginger from Amazon and OMG were they ever great. The ginger has more “kick” in the ginger. This brand has won me over. Now I can save on fuel. If you love ginger you really should try it.

Tastes good
I was worried that it would either be too hot or have an odd flavor to it but it’s very tasty not too spicy I have a rather mild palate but I am enjoying it immensely
