Wow, what a man and for someone in his generation. Did he have faults like another reviewer said, of course. The man is not God. But the uplifting beliefs he had, just wow. For a small book, it sure carries a punch. Very inspiring, especially in that day and age. If only we had some of his attributes in some of our politicians in this day and age. Loved, loved. Had to buy another from desertcart, my son's dog chewed mine. I bought extras and gave some out for Christmas gifts. Review: Beautiful book a must have for all President Lincoln fans.

I bought this for myself months ago and just could not get over the beauty and the eloquence and the educated mind of this man... in a day when all Presidents wrote ther own speeches and cared deeply about their own words as each sentence reflected themselves to the core of their souls. This book shows small qups and sentences and speeches as well. You can see how this man was affected by the things that he did, the choices he made and the great love of this young nation and how he wanted his stamp on it to be one that was a lasting and great one for the good of all men. If I were given a choice which person in history I could go back and meet with for a day, I know with a certainty it would be Abraham Lincoln. Enjoy this compact little book and gift it to everyone you can. I even gifted it to a high school teacher in Tennessee.
