Love this book. Some of the veves in it are ones I've not been able to find anywhere else, in print or online. Expensive, but worth it for the serious practitioner or explorer.

If you want an Informative book written at a very academic level. Great addition.

There are many books on Voodoo available to one interested in the particulars of that path. However, you would be hard pressed to find a more useful guide than the books of Milo Rigaud. This particular book which can be considered a working manual combined with "Secrets of Voodoo" are not only excellent straight forward introductions to this way but a source of practical information for the user as well. Perhaps the most important benefit to the reader is the fact that these books are written without the egotistical bent that accompany most books in this field.

I being a bit of a symboligist and I'm always looking for books on the subject. And if you have the same interest and are looking for a book on Voudou with almost every Ve-Ve you'll ever want. This is the book for you. Rigaud explains all the different parts of a Ve-Ve and their meaning. This book is also trilingual. Meaning it's in English, French and Spanish. And is not a book for amateurs who's only exposure to Voudou is what they've seen in movies. Definitely a mystic esoteric look at the subject
