Q: How does this work? I have purchased this before with a brush but can't get any product onto the sponge.

You have to prime to pump so to speak. Click it 20-30 times, then touch the sponge and see if there's product on your finger. If not, click it 10 more times, then test it. Once it makes it to the applicator sponge, you are set to go. You'll click it once or twice before each use.

Q: Why does your #3 shade cost 50% more than the other skin tones?

I’m not sure what exactly you are asking; however, I do know that I have tried lots of concealers and this has supreme coverage with a rich, yet not cakey coverage. I love it!
