What does the assorted option get you?

You get a small and medium size but these are so soft they are extremely difficult to use

Ive had 2 kids, should i go with the large size?

So as a mom myself , I have found that the large was a good choice for my heavy days. I ordered both sizes though and I use the smaller disk for my light days , but I'm also a cup user and most recommend after birth going for the large, although I will also remind you as women we all are different body sizes and shapes . Does it leak when you cough or sneeze?

Not if it is in the correct position, and the right size is used. I live mine I work 10 hour shifts on my feet with no issues.

Can you disinfect this in a cup steamer? If so how long?

Yes how ever ling your steamer works should be fine
