ideal wireless mouse for laptop
I recently got a new Dell laptop computer with Windows 10 on it and needed a small mouse to use with it. I wanted a mouse that is small in size and that also has a center scrolling wheel. This Logitech M325 mouse fits that bill perfectly. The mouse arrives ready to use with a battery installed. The USB receiver for the mouse is stored in the battery compartment which is kind of handy for transport purposes. There is no software necessary to begin using it. It is fully plug and play. The mouse can be turned on/off with a switch on the bottom to save battery life. I have this same model mouse that I use with a different computer, and the battery seems to last a very long time, at least a year or longer, even if not turned off. I have not had any issues with the cursor jumping around that has been reported by other reviewers. It’s worth noting that Windows 10 has many configuration options available in the Settings section for a wireless mouse. If your mouse jumps around you can adjust its sensitivity in Windows. In summary, this is an ideal wireless mouse to use with a laptop computer for most home/business/school computer uses. It is not designed for gaming, so you should consider a different mouse if you want to do a lot of gaming with it. This mouse is well built and fits nicely in my hand. The click buttons and scroll wheel all work great. Logitech has been a highly respected brand for many years, and I’ve used many different Logitech products over the years with great satisfaction.

No frills but works well.
I would have given this mouse a 4.5 if that was an option. It works fine for basic email/Word type use and scrolling web sites. It is a small mouse but I have small hands so I like it. I think it might be hard for someone with big hands to use. It isn't fancy but it does the job.

This is the second or third of these mice ( mouses?!!!) I've owned
This is either the second or third of this model mouse that I have owned. It's not the quietest if that's really important to you. It could be, depending on your living arrangements. To me, it's not important. I would say it's responsive and does what I need it to do. It has an off switch on the bottom which I often forget to turn off but the battery still lasts quite a long time. I couldn't really say how long as I haven't really paid attention but... Long. It comes as a bit of a surprise when it suddenly stops working. I usually panic and think it's my computer and then all of a sudden I think, "oh, wait, maybe it's my mouse..." Pop a new battery in and I'm good to go. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts around a year. I mean I've had these same ones for years and years and my recollection of changing batteries is as something I seldom have to do. This time I purchased the gray one and as silly as it sounds, it looks so pretty next to my laptop. I've had more colorful ones in the past but I really like the color of this one and the way it looks next to my device. Not something that's important but something to think about if you were going to spend more for one that's more colorful. All in all it's a good mouse. It does what it's intended for. I'll keep buying them.

Good Design but Occasionally Drags
Most of my mice have been Logitech, and I’ve had good experiences with the quality of product. I like the size of this one, and the design fits my small hand well. I’ve had it for several months, and sometimes it has some drag, which I’ve never had with my other mice.

Games, Art, And browsing. Oh my!
Well aren't I surprised. This is my first wireless mouse and my friends all threw there hands up in horror when I said I bought one. "Cassandra D: No! You must not buy a wireless mouse! All you will do is buy batteries and it will NEVER respooooooonndd~" They shouted this from the rooftops. And they were completely wrong. I've been using this off and on for about a month now, I shut it off if I don't intend to use it for a long period of time but I've left it on overnight now about six or seven times since I fell asleep, And it's still going strong, It's almost over responsive on my computer. I'm still playing with the settings to get it right. And Gamers could use this with a little ajustment, The scroll wheel is my only gripe, It's too smooth and it's hard to feel if you've scrolled it far enough so in games like, Team fortress 2. I've often over scrolled when trying to switch weapons, But aside from that it works great. It's responsive on a number of surfaces, I've done it on my leg, I've done it on my pant leg, I've done it on my pillow, Bed it's self, And because I have a small room I often use my office chair as a nightstand for my DS, And while using netflix to watch movies I was able to use the mouse from my bed to switch things and pause and ajust the sound. Overall I'm just as happy as could be. The scroller could be a little better. Oh! And another positive is the reciever has a storage place in the battery compartment. (And I'm also and Artist who often uses photoshop and it works great. :D)

Bought one for mother-in-law. Loved it. Bought one for self.
This is a great little mouse. In the couple of weeks between buying it and installing it on my mother-in-law's computer, I fell in love with it. The size is just right for my desk-top use. It should be great for on-the-go use too. Professional reviews indicate that it has great battery life (up to 1.5 year on an Alkaline battery). So far, mine has been working great on a 7 year old NiMh rechargeable battery that was too feeble to power a digital camera. The only warning I would give is that you may need to adjust the Pointer Speed when you first install it. I found that I needed to go to Control Panel : Mouse Properties : Pointer Options : Motion to set the pointer speed to one notch above slow. Before I did that, the pointer whipped from one side of the screen to the other with just a tiny bit of mouse motion. While I was at it, I slowed down the wheel too. The standard 3 lines per click made windows scroll too quickly with this mouse. On line per click works great.
