Maybe not so dishwasher safe!
I love this gadget. Not very expensive, when fully charged (overnight), used to great effect chopping onions, garlic etc on fairly small scale. The motor works when the top is engaged in either one of 2 slots on the side of the base fitted with 2 tiny magnets. One of these was lost after cleaning in dishwasher, so the top fitted only one way round but still worked. I've since found a tiny piece of magnetic plastic which I cut to size and glued in, so now it works perfectly again. Because of this I can only give 4 stars

Kids toy feeling
Just and I mean just does what it says , very under powered IMO . More like a well made kids toy ( without the blades ) . The only reason it's got good stars is most people got for free and reviewed!!!!

A handy kitchen gadget
The media could not be loaded. A smart green compact chopper, for chopping, shredding and puréeing food evenly and quickly.Careful when cleaning though, as the blades are really sharp. The chopper is USB rechargeable, and comes complete with a tiny Micro USB lead, which is so small it’s useless, it’s hard to reach anywhere with it. But we find this a lot with rechargeable devices now, also that they don’t come with a plug, which seems to be standard as well. The chopper can be charged via any 5v USB charger, like a phone charger, battery power bank, computer, mains USB or extension USB socket etc. I have long leads that I use with all my USB devices, so I’ll just continue to use that.A red light comes on when charging, which turns green when fully charged. To operate, put in your ingredients, put the lid back on and two magnets will lock it, then press the button on the top until the ingredients are chopped to your satisfaction. It has three stainless steel blades, at three levels, so it chops the tallest of items quickly and evenly. The chopper is easy to clean, just rinse out, or clean with a brush, do not put your hands anywhere near the blades.A very handy addition to the kitchen, and I thoroughly recommend it.
