$13 upgrade that potentially save me hundreds!
Installed within seconds on my old surefire (not sure what model it’s is, but was issued to me in 2005 while in Iraq). The light itself still works, which is a testament to Surefire quality weapons lights but the actual light output was garbage. It shot out the same light quality as a $7 Walmart keychain light. I figured I was going to have to spend around $150-$200 on a new weapons light from Streamlight or Olight (not a chance in hell I’m going to spend the kind of money surefires go for), but then I saw this and figured it was worth the $13 gamble. Took less than a minute to install and didn’t have to mess with the interior spring. I did however, have to remove the larger outer spring which took seconds. The difference was night and day!!!!(pun intended!)I’m not sure if it’s legit 1000 lumens but it’s definitely a lot brighter and clearer than the previous bulb. Once thing I’m not really sure of is it’s reliability..... the spring seems to be attached with what looks like pretty week soldering so I will have to actually fire this on my AR to see if it holds up to the recoil. Definitely with the buy. Worst case, you end up having to buy a new light and are only out $13.

Perfect fit, bright light!
This is a review for the Flashlight Bulb LED 1000 Lumens Smooth Reflector T6 Single Mode 3.0-18V Flashlight Replacement LED Bulbs for Surefire Hugsby C2 Z2 6P 9P G3 S3 D2, WF501B WF502B. I have 3 Surefire G3 flashlights and they use 3 FS123A batteries. These batteries only give you about 20 minutes of continuous use which is pathetic. I found rechargeable batteries but the voltage is slightly higher than 9 volts (3 batteries × 3 volts) on the Surefire flashlight so I decided to change the P90 Surefire bulb and and use 3-3.7 volt SKYWOLFEYE 1800mAh rechargeable batteries. When you install the bulb, you have to remove the larger spring for a perfect fit. The first picture is taken at about 13 feet from the wall. The second is looking into my bathroom wall which is about 25 feet from where I am standing. I am now very happy that I can use rechargeable batteries on my G3 flashlight and I highly recommend this LED light bulb.👍

Works ok, needs a little modification to work with Surefire G2. About 150 lumens
Based on another review, I trimmed the spring to about one and half turns and it fits flush and tight as a replacement in my Surefire G2. Pulling the entire spring will result in it being loose and rattling. Not trimming will result in it not seating properly. If you own a pliers and a G2, you should not have any issues! No way this is 1000 lumens. Based on other flashlights, I would say this is about 150 lumens. That is pretty bright and the price is right.

Great Option!
My husband was thrilled when his brother found these replacement batteries for a flashlight he thought was dead. The bulbs work great…just don’t be a butthead and point them in peoples’ eyes, because they are hella bright.

Too Good To Be True
Too Good to Be True! Installed in a Surefire M951 weopon light. Listing Details indicate "modifications" are required for bulb to fit. All you need to do is unscrew the large outer spring on replacement bulb, and it drops in and fits perfectly. Fit is as good as the original, and light output is amazing. At least 10x the brightness of original bulb, and light pattern is very nice. Large diameter spot that would stun and stop any foe in their tracks. Unbelievable upgrade for $6. Ordering another right now. Thank You!Update: After using light on AR for coyote hunting, battery life is at least as good as with the original surefire P60 bulb. May even be a little better. I'm assuming the 900 lumen rating is at 18 V, the max for the bulb. In a 6 V application like an M951, light output would be less, but it is still far brighter than several flashlights I own that are rated in the 3 to 400 lm range. Not to mention, the distance is really impressive considering the large size of the spot. Wish I had ordered more, as it is now sold out. LOL

No one expects great things out of a 10 dollar led head
Lets be honest. No one expects great things out of a 10 dollar led head. I threw this thing im my surefire. This little turd is brighter than my 130 replacement head from tnvc. Which came from that company broken and has been warrantied out 3 times already. So no, just cause something is expensive does not make it a good thing. This little guy shoots a beam out about 200 m on new batteries. It works, its bright. Thats all I ask for. Fit and finish isnt spectacular. But who cares. 90% of the people buying this are mounting them on the end of an m4. As long as it clears rooms well. No one cares what it looks like.

False advertisement
This does not work as described. I put it in a 6p flashlight. It didn't fit like it said it would. The flashlight can't close all the way. It also doesn't handle the voltage it says it will. 7.2v and it fried immediately. Zero stars if it were an option. Hopefully they actually refund like they say they will
