🚀 Elevate Your 3D Printing Game!
The Creality 3D Printer 42-40 Stepper Motor is a high-quality, low-noise motor designed for optimal performance in 3D printing. With a 1.8-degree step angle and 0.4 N.M holding torque, it ensures precision and stability, making it compatible with popular models like Ender-3 and CR-10 series. Note: connection cable and screws are not included.

As expected
I used this to replace a motor on my Sovol SV03 which axis broke. Seamless replacement. Printer works as before. Same fixation points, no calibration of any kind. Just switch and go.

X Marks the Spot
If you’re here, you probably realized you need a stepper motor with a flat sided shaft. This is it, at least for the OG Ender 3. Just get it, it’s worth it compared to trying to replace the press-fit gear and grinding a side into the rod of the original stepper motor. Take it from someone who tried to do it that way. It’s only like $15, just buy it. It saved me a bit of headache (compared to the machine itself). Plus, now that your rod is longer, you can put a little knob on it! Hehe

Works great
I used it for my extruder since the stock motor shaft wasn't long enough. It fit and worked great.

Good replacement
I actually just got this because I couldn’t get the feeder gear off the original one on the printer when I was trying to replace it. This swapped in and has now has several dozen hours on it. Printer is a Creality Ender 3 v2.

Works as expected
I needed a longer shaft on my ender 3 this was to allow for a updated duel drive extruder. It plugged in and mounted up good. It works way better then stock.

Used this on my Ender 5 Plus with Micro Swiss Direct Drive - also on Ender 3 geared extruder
The stock Creality extruders have a short motor shaft with the pressed-on gear. They won't work with the Micro Swiss direct drive extruder or with a dual-geared extruder. This stepper has a longer shaft and a flat spot for the grub screws.

Great upgrade to gen1 ender 3.
So I have an original gen1 ender 3 which turned out to having a shorter shaft and a press fit gear. After removing the press fit, found that the shaft of the motor was too short for the upgrade I was performing. all and all, there was more work to getting extenders and couplings than it was worth. so If you are going to upgrade, this is it. don't cheap out, this will save you a lot of time and headache. somethings are just worth getting and this is it.

Longer shaft motor
When I get a new printer, I remove the extruder stepper and replace with this because this has an extra long shaft to attach a turnwheel so that you can manually prime the extruder. Love these guys.
