Thanks to other reviews, I gave these a try for c.p. erasing, and they do an excellent job. They cleanly erase heavy applications (I use a "burnishing" technique, which some call a "hard" technique, but the idea is to layer on the color until no paper color or texture is left). They didn't work as well on some colors, and I'm not sure why – I imagine it's because of the pigment in the pencil or the way it was applied (i.e., thickly without other colors or white to build up the color). They also didn't affect the surface much at all, and I was able to go back in with other colors without any problem.I'm a long-time professional illustrator that worked traditionally before going digital, and color pencils were heavily used in some of my techniques so I have a lot of experience with a variety of erasers when it comes to eliminating or reducing color areas (say, to increase a reflected light on a form). These are easily as good or better than any I've used. Really glad to find something like this, since many of my favorite eraser pencil brands no longer exist.So if you're looking for a good/great c.p. eraser, these are as good as any ever made. No pencil eraser will do everything (even though these come close), so to fully erase the most stubborn areas the next item to consider is an electric eraser – they're cheap enough these days, and the speed at which the eraser turns really cleans up a trouble area quickly. Plus they're the best for adding textures since you can use them without excessive, repetitive hand motions. But as for pencil erasers, these are truly excellent.

These are great for getting in small places . After erasing one spot several they do remove the papers tooth. They are a good value. When they get dirty just sharpen them with a sharpener or sandpaper.

They are not the best eraser.. but definitely are decent. Will work well for bigger highlights in pencil drawings, but small little ones in like eyes and stuff, not the best.

They erase very well with little effort I didn't have an issue with them smudging overall I like the so much but I haven't tried to sharpen them yet

I cannot believe a product like this exists! It’s ease to use and control, the rubber build up on the nib when erasing is minimal, and you can sharpen it with a normal pencil sharpener. I wish I had found this years ago but it’s about to become a staple in my art supplies.I especially like that I can control the thickness just by sharpening. And unlike the mechanical erasers, the width of the rubber and the pencil around it make it much more stable and easy to use.

This is my overall review- The size is nice- They are easy to use obviously it's a pencil that's just an eraser and it's easy to sharpen.- The refills are nice- I would not day this has good smidge quality, it does smudge more than it erases anything but it's good if you want subtle erasing because where it smudges it does wipe some off so it's good for eye details that aren't overly obvious but I would not use this as a main eraser to get rid of sketches.- In terms for value for money I was hoping for something better since you know it isn't the most cheap option there is but it doesn't rip paper it just lightly and barely erases anything so it could be good for small detailing.
