works for some types of FODMAP
I googled the enzymes listed in this product and compared with Monash University FODMAP Diet app. The enzymes in the capsules should help breakdown fructose (like in broccoli or garlic), fructan (like onion or cabbage), lactose, and GOS (like beans/tofu), but won't help with mannitol (like cauliflower) or sorbitol (like cherry). I tested the effect by eating a large portion of tofu, garlic, and cabbage plus several spoonful of chickpeas. It seems to reduce but not eliminate the expected GI symptoms. I guess the dosage might not be high enough for a large amount of FODMAP or other food contents, like high fiber content, also contribute to digestive problems.

Works well, may lose effectiveness if used too frequently
These are great, I find they work best if you use them about once or twice a week as opposed to everyday. But they make it possible to eat out without negative side effects.I also find they are less effective if you have a cocktail with dinner - might be just me but it's worth mentioning.

Very helpful
I have tried other digestive enzymes and these ones have been life changing for me. Although not all IBS symptoms go away after eating a high Fodmap food and taking these enzymes, I can clearly see the difference in my digestion. I am not afraid to eat out anymore if I take them with me.

Hugely Overpriced and Ineffective
I've been diagnosed with SIBO, and struggle with digesting basic nutrients known as FODMAPS. I'm in the process of testing available enzymes to see if they will help me eat more nutritious foods without the constant cycle of bloating/gerd/vomiting/diarrhea that leaves me anemic & undernourished. I invested in a bottle of these HUGELY OVERPRICED enzymes. Took all but a few @ three per meal. THEY HAD NO EFFECT. I've had better luck with at least one less expensive brand. In general, these types of supplements tend to be over hyped and over priced, and there is no logical system for labeling them to allow consumers to compare reading the label. So it's the guinea pig path for me. In addition, everyone's system is individual. Some here have said they found relief using these. I didn't. I will try another brand.

Life changer
After being gluten free for over 20 years, I can now enjoy things like artisan bread in moderation thanks to this product. If I eat too many wheat products in a day I will still suffer some symptoms so I have to be careful but just to be able to have a bite of birthday cake once in a while is really great.

Possibly cut with baking soda
I was half dosing these bc I have a sensitive system and some got on my hand so I licked it. The taste was very familiar, like baking soda. Not what other digestive enzymes I have bought tasted or smelled like. So I decided to take the digestive enzymes I bought at the store and these and put them in shot glass with vinegar and sure enough these bubble up slightly. I checked the ingredients and it doesn't list sodium bicarbonate. Again I don't know if that's what I tasted and my test isn't a super accurate way to tell but seem worth asking more questions. As for how well they work alone -- I'm unsure bc I take them with other enzymes. I am sensitive to bases as my stomach seems to not have enough acid and these do increase that feeling of fullness that get when I have something neutralizing acid so could be related or it could be something else.
