Great for youth art classes- reusable!
Was very happy using these in my art classroom. Much cheaper than Buddha Board, and the students enjoyed either tracing the characters or just painting what ever they wanted. I cut the books apart after realizing they could dry faster and be ready to go for the next class. Wonderful purchase!

Not a beginner friendly book.
Bought it because it looks like a beginner book. After use it a couple of times, it has not arrow showing the flow of the writing. If you are just start learning to write the Chinese calligraphic, this book is not recommended.

Definitely not for beginners
The fact that there is no English translation of the characters doesn't bother me. What bugs me is that there is no indication of stroke order. I have a similar one sheet version of this that even has tiny arrows inside the characters to show the direction of the stroke and whether you make a stop and a sharp turn or a gliding motion. You would be better off with a character dictionary that at least shows stroke order or "A Chinese Character a Day" by Philip Yungkin Lee (shows stroke order and translation). Not following proper stroke order will cause you to develop bad habits and lead to misshapen characters.

Poor packaging
Product itself maybe good but shipping and packaging is pretty bad.
