Vaudeville Runaway: A Standalone Reverse Harem Circus Shifter Romance (Cirque de Nuit Pride Book 1)

A delightful book, the author does an incredible job describing the various dance moves without it feeling confusing to people like myself who know nothing about it. I think my only major complaint is that there isn't more to read!

The plot was well thought out and written. As a standalone book I would have preferred it to be another 100 or so pages longer so that the characters could have gained more depth. One thing I forgot is that several of Ms Dean's book have a similar feature in that 2 or more of the male characters in the RH have a sexual history together and this continues with the encouragement of the FMC and also encouragement to bring the previously uninvolved M characters into it. The degree of the MM action varies between books and in this case is only once but I would say medium. In my view it adds nothing to this story at all and is just there for no important reason. As always there is no warning given in the blurb as most authors do so that you can avoid the book if this is not your thing (like me). So I will just have to remember to avoid all her books. This lack of content warning is the reason for 3 stars.

This is an excellent book. It was well written and the story and characters are well developed. I loved the character dynamics and how they interacted with each other. The story was excellent. I thought it touch on hard subjects sympathetically. It was full of suspense, intrigue, emotion, hot chemistry and romance. Although this book is a stand alone I would have loved to hear more about the future and maybe what it holds for other characters in the book as well as the triad and their mate. This does not detract from the five stars!! I would highly recommend this book and wish their were future books to form a series (hint, hint!!)!!I received an arc for a voluntary review.

Wow wow wow a very exciting read. I couldn’t put this book down. A definite page turner. The characters chemistry was sizzling and leave you wanting more. The author of this book is amazing how she enthrals you with her work. Not to be missed. I recieved a copy and this is my honest review

I loved how realistic this book was. Kitty reacted to situations the way a normal person would react which is refreshing to see in paranormal books. The circus environment was described wonderfully and I really hope there's more to come from Kitty and her lions.
