One place says waterproof, another says water resistant, these are two different things. It holds about 40-50 thousand dollars in 100’s! Lol. Just kidding! It’s difficult to tell people exactly how much it holds. I’ll say, if you’re trying to save papers, a 8-1/2 x 11 will obviously need to be folded. I’d say about 1-1/2 to pushing it to 2” thick you can fit. Bear in mind since it’s not boxy on the ends, but tapered, whatever you put in cannot no way be 2” thick at the ends. As far as two zippers, it’s two compartments, not double sealed. Also, on both zippers, there’s a really high quality clasp on a heavy rope I’ll say, not a skinny string. I removed both and saved them for something else I may need. The reason is, the clasp is so thick, it affects the velcros ability to seat easily. Of course I bought them for fireproof/“waterproof-water resistant, and having a clasp affect closure, is not a consideration. Bottom line: I’m not going to burn it to see if it works, and seeing it, it looks like it could be water resistant, but submerged, water will get in. I’m putting it in a safe that’s also fireproof so, I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks!

I like how durable it is. Haven’t placed it in water so I don’t know the water resistance. There isn’t a locking mechanism, just zipper and Velcro. And I pray I never experience it in a fire.

I use this case for important papers. I do wish it was 8x11 size wise so I don’t have to retold important documents.

I’m using this to store documents inside a fire-proof safe for added protection. Seems like it is decent quality although I haven’t tested it with actual fire. The larger inner zipper pouch can fit several documents folded in half (8 1/2 x 11) but the smaller inner zipper pouch is slightly to small too small for that. Overall seems like a decent pouch

No dislikes as of yet. I really don`t know if the pouch is fireproof as described, and I really hope there`s not a fire on my premises to find out if it is. It definitely holds and contains some of my personal items securely.

Used this to store passports and flash drive with important files; initially very pleased but after about 1 year of very light use (opened about once/month; mostly just stored in a drawer) I noticed that one of the side seams is ripped open, leaving a 1" gap that completely exposes the contents; very poor durability, would not buy again

I can't of course say that this is fireproof, because I don't plan on burning it to find out. But it is indeed a very well made bag to keep things in. And it is waterproof as I spilt my coffee on it and it basically rolled off not filtrating the inside at all. I'm pleased with my purchase and I would recommend it if you're looking for something sturdy and secure to store items. Just can't say it's fireproof,but in general a very nice document bag with a nice zipper and well stitched material.
