14 month update: My full review is below, but updating that the foam is still holding strong and I'm still very happy with this pillow. It's great for falling asleep on my side - no shoulder pain - and also works great for me when I sleep on my back! I now travel with this pillow and am constantly putting it into a travel vacuum bag. Even so, the foam is still in great shape and bounces right back. I am a side-sleeper and was constantly waking up with an aching shoulder causing me to shift back-and-forth all night from one shoulder to the other. This pillow has completely eliminated that issue for me. For reference I am 6ft 160lb male. I've had no trouble with the pillow smelling (I let it air out for a day before I started using it initially). I've had no trouble with the pillow being hot or retaining heat. And lastly, after 4 months the foam has still NOT started to flatten out and it seems to have retained its original shape and dimension. This was a concern I had when I first ordered the pillow so happy to report that it does not seem to be a short term issue, although I'm sure some day it will start to loose its dimensions and flatten out since it is made of foam. Although I always intended to leave a review on the pillow after a few months, I was motivated to do so today after staying at a hotel this weekend without my pillow cube. Although the hotel bed was comfortable and the pillows beautifully plush, I again woke up multiple times with my shoulders hurting. I am thankful to be home again! When this pillow showed up on the daily deal, I was hesitant because of the $100 price tag. However, I was able to reason the price for 2 reasons. First, I would be able to return it if I didn't like it, and second, I spend 1/3 of my day in bed, so I should opt for luxury. I read the reviews extensively before deciding to purchase. I was worried about the chemical odor that's mentioned in quite a few of the reviews. I didn't notice any smells at all. Now part of it could be due to losing my sense of smell after having Covid, and it hasn't fully returned. But if it's a trapped smell, such as this would have been from being shrink wrapped in the box, then I should have picked up some scent. Absolutely nothing. When unpacking it, I was fearful because the pillow was flat, maybe only 1-2 inches thick, and it's supposed to be 5 inches. It was also very floppy and didn't feel like there would be any support to it. I gave it a day to just sit and acclimate to the unpacking and room temperature (it was below freezing when it delivered and spent most of the day outside on the porch). The first night I slept on it I prepped myself for a rough night and kept my old pillows close by in case I needed to do a middle of the night exchange. I surprised myself by not needing my old pillows, and I slept the whole night without waking up one time. I haven't done that in years. I also have an alarm clock ritual that allows me to wake up slowly to acclimate my body to getting out of bed as I struggle with daily pain. I woke up and was shocked at how reduced my pain was. In fact I was able to get out of bed with only doing minimal stretching, whereas before I'd have nearly 20 minutes worth of exercises just to get up. Now I was worried that all this would be a fluke and that the second or third nights reality would come slamming back in. So far that hasn't proven to be the case. I've had nearly a full week of sleeping through the night and waking up with pain reduction. So long review summarized - it's worth the money if you are a true side sleeper and want a good pillow for spine alignment.

My mum has arthritis in her neck and even though this pillow is great quality, it didn't help elevate her neck pain.

It's hard to find a great pillow for a good price. The first week neck was a little sore but once you have adjusted to it I feel more rested. The cube pillow kinda turns your head and body so you sleeping on your side. Very comfortable

a few hundred dollars , many many pillows later and a chronic neck pain that lasted years UNTILL I discovered PILLOW CUBE ! I'm a side sleeper and have been suffering from neck nerve impingement because the memory foam pillow would always compress too much and the space between my neck and shoulder just contracts. this pillow will not compress after long periods of use , this pillow will not get warm and will make you feel the difference after just one use! I didn't need any break-in period at all switching to the cube!
