This thing is awesome. Only been in the air 2x but I have flown all sorts of sUAVs for 10 years and this, by far, is the easiest. If you want longer flight times, the batteries for the Typhoon H520 are same but have a higher mAH. Very nice quality. I got the one that includes the backpack.

Great video and picture quality. Easy to use. Two batteries give you 40-45 mins of flight. Takes about 1-2 hour to recharge. No sound, but I use a mic if I need it. Wish it came with a power handle for the camera/gimbal. Controller is great as well. Sometimes hard to get the camera just right but practice helps a lot. Everything works as advertised. Avoidance system can sometimes be a hassle when you need to get close but you can turn it off when you’ e got a close eye on it.

1. One of the batteries that was shipped was no good. (Wouldn't hold a charge and would not charge.) 2. Didn't pass the preflight checks(Some of the controller checks and or positions didn't work.) 3. Had to return the product to the seller because of the defective items.

I have had the Typhoon H Plus since Oct 2018, so I know the good, the bad and ugly about this drone. First the good; the camera is one of the best with a full frame Sony sensor. The bad is the size for travel and technical support. The ugly is the battery life and cost. I get a low battery warning after only about 15-20 minutes of flight time. The battery design is very fussy about how you store them. I never store them fully charged. Ideally you store them half charged until the night before you plan to go out and fly the Typhoon to get maximum flight time. The batteries also have a issue of over heating and do what is often referred to as "puffing" when they slight expand. Many drone pilots complain that they can't remove the battery if it gets to puffed even after letting it cool down. Even with some of the unflattering comments that I have made about this drone, I still really enjoy flying it and using it to take video clips and stills. It is truly a professional camera drone as long as the mission is not too long.
