THE ONLY FLOUR TO USE FOR MAKING IRISH SODA BREAD!
If you are making the traditional Irish Soda Bread (not the sweet kind) his is the flour to use. It's perfect. Be sure to keep it in the freezer. Whole grain/meal flour will turn rancid over time if not refrigerated. The flavor is wonderful and it bakes up great. FYI, my recipe (from ATK, I believe) calls for the loaf to be cooked in a 9" cake pan. This works very will indeed. The product is a bit pricey, but I am not a good baker so I want all the help I can get.

Irish whole meal flour is hard to find and this product is worth the price. It’s fresh and makes delicious, authentic scones, soda and brown breads. Highly recommend.
